She must know how to work angles because from that figure change in the boyhood picture to vavavavoom in the second is quite drastic.
agreed! she looks almost without a waist in that first one, then all of a sudden she’s hour-glassy.
First thing I noticed, too, but I thought it was just bad photoshop… Well, I’m not very good at telling this sort of things.
I think they photoshopped it…Either #1 to make her hips smaller, or #2 to make them bigger.
She is divine. Genuinely no more to say.

I usually think that Alessandra looks unhealthily thin, but in these particular pictures she looks slightly heavier! If she gained a little weight, it will really benefit her health and thus her appearance too.
Anyway, plus points, she has a lovely skin tone, great legs, and a pretty yet unique face. The only think i’m not so keen on is her lack of a waist; her torso is straight. That must be down to her bone structure, as Candice Swanepoel and Diane Kruger are equally slender, yet they have lower WHRs.
Finally, i love the black dress on Alessandra – the silver, metal details on the dress draw the eye inwards, giving her the illusion of a narrower waist.
versus what is her body shape ???
She is a ruler shape – not ‘bigger’ on the bottom, not ‘bigger’ on top, proportionate, lean, very small curves.
I think she has a really pretty face. But she’s too thin for my taste.

I love her! I think in the second pic, the cut out dress gives the illusion of curves. In the third pic, i think its the angle of her body that does it.

i really like her face, it’s pretty but in a very non intimidating sort of way.
I think they actually photoshopped her arms to look meatier in these photos, because usually they are her thinnest body part.

Maybe she just doesn’t want pictures taken of her with her mouth full. Most people don’t look attractive while eating, and at events she is payed to look attractive.
I’m pretty sure she later ate the cake she was holding. After all, even on a restrictive diet, she could afford to eat a small piece of cake. That’s like 150-200 calories max.
I agree with Casey. I have no idea if Alessandra feels similarly, but I absolutely HATE it if anyone’s staring at me while I’m eating. It takes me a long time to feel comfortable eating in front of someone, let alone in front of a group of people trying to take my picture. It also doesn’t help if you’ve had a lot of criticism before about what you eat and your body (I’ve had it for being ‘too slim’).
I have a love/hate relationship with Ale. I love her body yet it is so thin it scares me lol Does that make any sense? And I know it’s not an attainable look for most. Does her lack of hips scare anyone else in the first pic? I think what gets me most is that she is grown woman with a child and is still this thin, just seems so unnatural but I think she lives healthily.
thats exactly how i feel! i think if you saw her in real life though you would definitely think she was too thin – photos generally make people look bigger so just imagine her in real life!
I don’t think she gained any weight. Skinny girls get photoshopped too; to create curves.
well i’m no fan of hers but she does look nice here and i find it crazy how some people assume she looks unhealthy for whatever reason. she’s thin and works out, doesn’t starve or anything.
How do you know she doesn’t starve??

she looks like a little boy, the only shape she has is from corsets, photoshop and jutting her hip out. To me she is not beautiful or attractive.

Her thighs are still a mile apart even when her legs are crossed in the first picture.
I am simultaneously unsettled and jealous.
I have a normal figure and I’m not as skinny as Ale but when I cross my legs there’s a gap between my thighs too.
I don’t think it has anything to do with being skinny, it might just be due to the shape of the leg/muscle.

My legs are the same, I think because I have wide hips, not because I’m particularly thin.
I agree. I’m a US size 2 and when I cross my legs I don’t have a gap.

I don’t think she gained weight though, I think they just softened her up a little. They softened her face too, which is why she looks better than she has lately. I wish she would gain 10 pounds, or at least, cut down her work out routine so she softens up a little. She would look much better.
I do think she is naturally thin. She just overtones.
i absolutely hate the “little boy” comments. some women are thin naturally and some women have the discipline to maintain a thin body. Either way there a methods of achieveing a figure like this that are healthy, so i don’t see the problem with how skinny she is. I think she looks great.

I like her a lot but here they took like 15 years off her face and completely changed the shape of her body.
Out of all the Victoria Secret models, I feel that she is the least attractive. Her face is quite average, there is nothing particularly unique and striking about her facial features. However, I think she is successful as a model because she has the quintessential slender lean tall fashion model’s body so it works. As my mother once said, to be a successful model, you don’t have to be beautiful, as long as you have the height and the body measurements you can go very far! Sad but true!
Whats sad about it? Being amazingly and unusually beauitful (eg gemma ward) is just as much out of reach for the average woman as having the super-tall, super-thin proportions of a model. So it doesnt make a difference to who can or can’t model. Would it somehow be better if models didnt have to be just tall and skinny, with a pretty face and good hair and skin, but they had to be even more beautiful facially?
In response, I think that Alessandra face is quite plain. I don’t think that she has a stunning, makes you stop in your tracks face at all, but she is skinny and by looking at the pics, I’m sure her measurements are probably in the neighborhood of 34-24-34 or under, which works for modeling. In your defense, what one person finds beautiful may not be beautiful to another; I may not find her face beautiful but from reading the comments, some ppl do. (To each there own) Nevertheless, I am entitled to my own opinion, and I think that if I had never heard of her before but just saw her face from the shoulder up for the first time, I wouldn’t think she is a model especially a VS model!
I think she is beautiful – I love her sharp features. She is so striking/stunning, unlike Miranda or Candice, who are pretty in a conventional, girl-next-door way.
Is it just me, or do you believe that Alessandra’s career has been rising recently? In the past years, I used to only see her modeling for Victoria Secrets, but now I see her modeling for other lines!

I think she looks really pretty but specially on 4th and 5th picture she has been softened, WE ALL know that her back and chest area look way bonier thha that, but she’s still pretty.
They softened her up in these pics. I guess that’s a good thing because she looks better here. Normally, I find her to be too straight up and down and her face often looks really masculine.
I’m sure I’ll be in the minority here, but I don’t find this woman attractive in the least. I’ve never seen a picture of her with her mouth closed, for starters. Her face is not attractive to me, and her body is too thin. She just looks like a starved fish to me.

Omg, she really looks great here. While she is thin, she does have some waist cinchers on and a corset which give her a waist. Because she has a small bone structure and small hips, she doesn’t have much of a waist. But I think she looks super here! Doesn’t look like a photoshop job at all to me.
i think that she is a cameleon. she can pass for the most boring you wouldn’t look twice on the street to a showstopper!
She works it. She may not be the youngest or most genetically blessed moel, but she always looks so fierce (in comparison, to – say – Marisa Miller, who always looks boring). I love the outfits, especially the black dress.
