now that she is a more healthy weight and her face is more filled out, facially she looks so much like my friends brother that i dont even like to look at her anymore (imagine those lips, eyes, nose, and face shape on a boy, it doesnt look good lol). Its bizarre I know, in my head I KNOW shes a gorgeous woman, its just i see this annoying boys face whenever i see her.
I knew a boy who looked like her, only with brown eyes and hair. He was also quite pale, so I guess it is easier to disconnect his image from Adriana’s, but when you mentioned a boy with Adriana’s features I immediately thought of him!
Aaawwwww she is soo beautiful and happy! I feel sorry for her cuz she loooves sweets… Oh well. I hope she doesn’t lose toooo much wait. Ok, she probs won’t cuz she def’s knows how to be healthy. Can’t wait for my next VS catalog!!

I hope she doesn’t become to thin so if she want’s to lose weight it should be 10 pounds anything more than that it is too much. But i think she looks good with the extra weight she almost looks now weight wise how she did in the 2006 VS Show. Let’s pray she doesn’t pull an Alessandra Ambrosio and go to an extreme to overcompensate for the fact that she has mommy curves.

I’m brazilian and I think this is ridiculous. There is pretty and ugly people everywhere in the world.
I’m not Brazilian, but I agree with you. I’ve always thought it was silly to say any nationality has more pretty people than another. Perhaps you can generalise about attitude, style or even size, but not beauty. On some message boards I used to post on, lots of people seriously believed Brazil was full of supermodel beauties like Adriana, Ana Beatriz Barros, Alessandra Ambrosio, etc. After visiting I can say that, if they ever go, they will definitely be surprised! Most women were as short as me (5’2″) and hardly any had a long, lean, model-like body.
and brazil is a HUUUGE country, it’s not weird they can produce a lot of supermodels since the population and the area is the fifth biggest in the world

While I agree that having a large pool to choose from does affect the amount of models from a country I don’t believe the same applies to China. China, although full of people, isn’t the most free country in the world, and is still one of the few (technically) communist countries in existence, so even if the people were beautiful they wouldn’t have the freedom to pursue a career like this as easily as a person in a more “western” style country.
yeah, and chinese women aren’t the norm for beauty in the western society (where most of the fasion industry is located). sad but true. and it is a communist republic, beauty and fame aren’t valued high there.
I am from Argentina and although I agree with you that there are pretty and ugly people everywhere, there is a certain charm and sexyness about Brazilians, you guys always seem to be in a good mood and radiant, and seem to be confident about their bodies (at least that is what I came across) whereas in Argentina there are GORGEOUS women, but so stuck up! Adriana is gorgeous, yet sweet, has a special bright in her eyes that makes her even more beautiful!
