Kendra Wilkinson Is Sharing Her Weight Loss Secrets

New mom Kendra (who says she lost 25 pounds since giving birth) is already sharing her weight loss diet secrets in OK! Magazine (after last week, she embraced the cover in a bikini). In case you’re curious, here’s her “secret” plan:
“It’s about portion control, healthy choices and not mixing proteins and carbs in the same meal because they digest differently.-”
1. Eat Breakfast
“I have strawberry or peach yogurt; cereal and fruit; or a smoothie, so I’m not hungry and I feel energized!” Eating in the a.m. prevents binging later in the day.2. Skip The Scale
“Chart your progress with how your clothes fit, not what the number on the scale says.”3. Don’t Cut Everything Out At Once
Kendra craved ice cream and pizza in her third trimester. “I can’t just go from that to eating salads. I’m phasing it out, little bit by little bit.”4. Keep A Goal In Mind
Kendra wants to surpass Kim Kardashian’s famous Hollywood booty! She also wants to wear a slinky Hervé Léger dress for hubby Hank Baskett.5. Snack Smart
“I really like cold, raw vegetables — especially baby carrots.” Dip them in some hummus or fat-free dressing for a low-cal midday munch.6. Indulge Once In A While
Kendra allows herself red meat once a week, coffee in the morning and, when the craving strikes, “Flamin’ Hot Cheetos! I love them!”7. Don’t Overload Your Plate
Carb-loving Kendra still eats pasta and rice. “It’s just all about portion sizes.” A sensible amount is 1 cup, about the size of a tennis ball.8. Eat The Right Fats
“You should keep some fats in your diet if you are breastfeeding. They’re good for both mom and baby!” Add avocados; nuts, such as almonds, hazelnuts and pecans; and seeds, such as pumpkin and sesame, to your diet.9. Adapt Your Schedule So You Have Time To Work Out
“I go to the gym when Hank comes home. We take turns with who gets to work out!” Strive for 30 minutes of exercise each day.10. Ease Into Exercise
“From carrying a baby for nine months, my back is really messed up. So I’ve been trying to strengthen my core before I start on crunches.”











Seems like reasonable advice. Never understand why they call it weight loss secrets though, losing weight is not hard if you follow advice that’s already out there and its definitely no secret. I also agree about skipping the scale, the scale can get you frustrated if you check it to constantly due to muscle growth, water weight ect it can seem misleading. I go with how clothes fit until I’m happy with the way I look then I have a little peek.
I agree it’s no big secret. Basically Kendra is saying: be sensible, no gimmicks, all the normal, reasonable stuff.
She did not lose that weight (it’s still soon, not saying she should have), but what 25 pounds is she talkng about?

Kendra looks great. Although I don’t think she should brag about her big weight loss. She still looks to be around 30 pounds heavier than she was before pregnaancy. This is not a bad thing at all . Hey she dellivered a nine pound baby!! I feel most new Moms lose some weight right after delivery it is not unsusual. Yes they photoshopped the bikini pictures alot we can see that now….
They had to have photo-shopped it…where’s her scar from the C-section???
Wow I’m shocked. She’s the first person I’ve seen on here who has a reasonable (and maintainable) diet. None of that “CUT OUT CARBS AND SUGAR BECAUSE THEY ARE BAD!” and none of that “YOU CAN EAT ANYTHING YOU WANT!” She hasn’t lost her pregnancy weight yet, but I bet she will over time. Her body just probably drops it slower than other women.
I thought the same thing! usually this articles never talk about a real diet…real advice….it is true that we heard that before but I was surprised to read real and good advice about dietting.

This is excellent advice.
If I were a celebrity I would not discuss losing my baby weight. It has become a really sick obsession in the media.
Why don’t they just write this stuff on a t-shirt because so she can hand it to the next one who drops the baby weight.

she is so pretty,and she has always been my fav person on the girls next door,she doesn’t look fake and she is so funny and down to earth i would love to meet her cuz she is my favorite star i love her show and she keeps me laughing and she has a beautiful family!!!

i thought u guys r rude. kendra is great and always will be. i love how she is. ever since i seen her on girls next door i been keeping up on her. she gives great advice and great laughs. i am one of her biggest fans.
