“Because I could, because I was done with the season,” she explained to PEOPLE.
“I was like, ‘I need to change, I need to get myself out of this slot. I don’t feel like a blonde right now!’
” In true superstar fashion, the actress didn’t stop with her hair, and had her stylist touch up her brows as well. “I hope they match,” she said, continuing, “Eyebrows very much frame the face.”
Despite the color change, Hayden tells us that she isn’t through with the change-ups. “I was going to go dark,” she said of her original hair color plan. “And then I decided to go red first — and then dark.”

im not a big fan of the red…it looks too fake or something. I think the darker hair will look good on her though.
It kind of sucks that she even needs to explain why she dyed her hair to People magazine (unless she volunteered that information.)
It’s a step above being asked:
“So Hayden, why are you still breathing today?”
And I assume her reply would be something like:
“Because I’m really addicted to breathing. I’ve been doing it incessantly for the past 20 years. I suppose I should stop at some point.”

its not her head.. she just has a gymnast/cheerleader body. its so compressed that it makes her head look a little big. shes just petite and athletic at the same time

yea i agree i dont think the red suits her. Blonde was better for her (which i rarely think blonde is better for women)…but i do think she will suit dark aswell because of her pretty green eyes and darkish skin

She looks awful with this color, it doesn’t fit her at all. But that’s what happens when most people go red. I think she might look great with like a light brown hair color, but blonde is the best for her.

yeah i dont get why pple freak when someone changes their hair. im a natural blond who went really dark brunette just for fun and my mom cried! so crazy. it’s just hair! its just another fun accessory to play with!
i know! lol ‘another fun accessory to play with’ ha ha! yay for the blondes that are not too scared to touch their hair!!! i am also blonde but i prefer my hair red or really dark- it just suits my pale complexion and light green eyes better! i feel more sexy and sultry and dark…when blonde i feel more flirty and fun, so its all about what i feel like at the time! everytime i go to the hairdressers and they see my regrowth ‘omg! your hair is so light naturally! WHY do you dye it!!!’
though i have found it can be hard to get back to the blonde at times

yeah, I think I’ll like it, too. Her natural hair colour is a lighter brown I think. At least this is how she wore her hair in “Ally McBeal” (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/photopost/data/1043/normal_hpamb10.jpg)
Actually, if you’re blonde and want to go dark then going red inbetween is pretty much the only way to avoid getting ashy tones and not much depth. Jessica alba did it (remember when she was red for like, a week?) and because dying the hair is generally quite damaging, perhaps its better to wait a little between sessions. though I don’t know if thats an issue or not.
Either way, if she has to go red first, why shouldnt she enjoy it for a while? I think it looks good on her.
