If you are not familiar with these two faces, then here’s the news: the left one is the skinniest girl that ever won America’s Next Top Model and the right one is the curviest one to take home the same title. Just how different are they? For starters, Jaslene is a US size 0 (even though she usually looks looks like a 00) and the recent winner, Whitney, is a US size 10 and sometimes an 8.
In addition, Jaslene’s 110 lbs and 5’8” height reflect a BMI of 16.7, where a healthy BMI starts with 18.5 and ends with 24.9. Whitney’s stats? Being around 165 lbs and 5’10”, Whitney’s BMI is 23.7. However, Whitney is the one who’s called plus size model or the full figured one, while Jaslene represents the stereotypical model figure.

Sorry, but that Whitney girl doesn’t have it – for a modelling career, I mean. Sure, she might be attractive in bed or on the street. As for the skinny one, not attractive on the runway, bed, street… wherever. She looks like a dude.

I think both of these girls are beautiful in different ways. I think it’s about time ANTM has awarded a “Full Figured” model the title. Althought she’s not the least bit “Full Figured”, Whitney is beautiful and Jaslene is beautiful, I just wish people would stop saying Whitney is fat and the show was rigged, can’t people just accept the fact that someone besides a size 0 or someone that has the body of a little boy could win. Just goes to show you how distorted the American public has become. We used to idolize women who looked like Whitney, now we idolize unheathly skinniest women. As for the girl on the right, she looks like she belongs in a coffin. I cannot for the life of me figure out how this looks good, and then to be proud of it! American fashion industry needs an enema!

Whitney was my vote for this last season from day one. I think she is beautiful and it is ridiculous that people can say that a size 8-10 is plus size. That is what most women wear!! The modeling industry needs to change…it is making young girls minds warped. Jaslene is not someone I find remotely pretty and I would much rather look like Whitney!
Actually, Whitney has said (on the show & in Seventeen magazine) that she is a size 12, not 8-10.
I don’t find either extremely attractive, and although Whitney does have a way prettier face, I don’t think she’s cut out to be a model, at least not high-fashion. She’s got more of a girl-next-door vibe.

Get your eyes tested Matt. Whitney is the normal one, the one at a healthy weight and the one who could actually do things within her biological remit without health issues e.g. give birth.

Damn! Mat u killing it lol. Honestly, I think both of those girls are beautiful and fit to be models. What type of modelling, that’s where it differs. High fashion has always been known for skeletal, stick thin models- and the main reasons for that choice is that designers are trying to cut back on material and fabric costs so they employ thinner smaller models. However, the skeletal figure has become a fashion itself. And honestly, it didnt begin in America, it began in Europe. Presumably in Paris, France and Milan, Italy. You do get different type of modelling, and if you are referring to “high fashion” and catwalk modelling, Jaslene does look like the part. However if you are talking about face, lingerie, bikini, catalogue or any other types of modelling; then it’s more like to be Whitney. Although some Jaslene can do it too if wanted. In the case of Jaslene, you do get people like her who are just naturally and genetically slim, even to the underweight state but that’s how their bodies are. Once they discover they can earn mega billion by just being them and showing their bodies, they do it. But you get other females who will come near death to try and look like something their not, just because it’s “High fashion”.
In my conclusion they’re both beautiful, depending on your opnion. Beauty is perceived on the eyes of the beholder.

I am over the moon that Whitney won, I think she will inspire little girls all over the world to be who they are and not to want to starve themselves. Whitney is beautiful, she has wonderful features, a fantastic glowing healthy skin and dam I’d love to look like her and I’m smaller than her!!! I think men will find her to ‘die for’. Of all the winners of top model I think she is the one that more people will be able to identify with. Most women look that size and most men would prefer a woman with some curves. I think if you are naturally stick thin then that’s fine but to portray fashion as needing to have think models to save a bit of fabric in dresses which already cost £££ or $$$ is silly, we women of the world want a good mix of models on the runway to portray all our sizes so we can go out and buy this stuff. uh the competition was RIGGED when whitney won…. whitney used to be way smaller than she is now, and was told to gain weight and she’ll make it all the way to the end and become the first “PLUS SIZE MODEL”..now im not one to sympasize(sp?) with fat people or “curvy ” people, which seems to be the new word for it…but the competition was a conspiracy people.. and whitney is not even pretty at all…Jaslene is a way better model
haha i love the arguments going on between everyone…i am going to have to say i appreciate both for multiple reasons, Jaslene is beautiful in the spicy, saucy, exotic way. Whitney however appeals to the women who, can never be a size 0-5…sadly society has been shoving thin down every woman’s throat in not only the USA but the whole entire world…even I at US size 4-5 struggle with my weight, for in the public eye i am not “model thin” and that was a term deemed to me from a modeling agent…i was told i have to work on my thighs, arms and lower back…i have worked out literally every day for five months and i am still “not quite there yet” now, i work out, i eat healthily, and i take care of my looks, and because i am not size 0-2 i am not good enough…so as far as i am concerned as a struggling model myself i feel that Whitney is a role model for the public eye. And as for all of you that said the show was rigged, even if it was, why is it terrible that ANTM wants to let girls grow up healthy and happy with WHO THEY ARE?? Whitney has the body and the look and yet easy to relate to, and Jaslene has sex appeal and a secret aura about her that screams exotic and also a body that if born with those genes rock it girl! but be happy with what you got naturally, not meaning go and pig out and make yourself obese, what your body looks fabulously with daily exercise and healthy food =]

i think that both of these ladies are beautiful. but jus because you are skinny dont mean you suffer from anorexia. Im 17 nd wear a size 5 nd only weigh 115 but, if you were to ask anybody that knows me, they would say l eat like a 200 and women. People sometimes that are thin have high metabolisms, that dont mean nothin!
Jaslene has a better face, but Whitney’s got a better body. I’ll take both, please, preferably at the same time
if anyone follows my comments on this site, they would quickly realize that i def. prefer tall, lean, muscular bodies, HOWEVER.. Jaslene just DOESNT do it for me.. I like the plus sized model better.. jaslene looks like a boy with WEIRD gums. NOT A FAN.. whitney radiates sexual prowess/confidence. She is happy and confident in her own skin.. I am a size 6… sometimes 4 sometimes 8 and there is absolutely no way that Whitney is a size 8-10. Anyways, Jaslene is unhealthily thin and should gain at least another 10 lbs… and she really isn’t that attractive.. probably isn’t really at all without makeup.. But to everyone that is saying Whitney is at an unhealthy weight, that is just ridiculous. Another 10 lbs and yes, maybe she was getting a little too heavy, but at this point, she definitely is not.

Honestly, 5’8″ and 110 pounds is ridiculous. That’s about a pound and a half per inch of her. That shouldn’t be what girls everywhere are emulating.

Whitney is by FAR the best! theres plenty of plus size models but she isnt plus size… shes more inbetween! she has sucha pretty face! the other girl looks like a man, not attractive at all, and ive never heard of her either.. She looks like a UK size 12 or maybe a 14 which is under average here!
I think Jaslene has sex appeal because of her facial expressions and her fierce exterior, but as for her body, she looks just downright awful.

I think they are both beautiful in their own different ways. Women are always self concious about their size…ALWAYS, and it seems like both of these women flaunt their size with pride. I dont think beauty is what other people think of you, but how confident you are in your own skin. They are both beautiful girls, but they are both beautiful because they look CONFIDENT.

ok i think whitney is pretty and has a great figure but not for modelling. for everyone that is freaking out over a size 8-10 being plus sized, actually a SIZE 6 is considered plus size in the modeling world. i am a healthy 5’6″ at 145lbs, fitting into my size 6 jeans perfectly, but i am considered plus size. AKA fat.

The thing is, Jaslene’s body is something that is more socially acceptable in a high fashion world. But if I saw her walking down the street, I’d probably think she needed to gain 15-25 pounds to look like someone who isn’t close to death.
