Don’t feel so bad about your pear shape! I’m a pear too, but as long as you know how to dress your body (that goes for any shape!) you can learn to appreciate it.
As far as Selma goes, I think she looks good right now; she said she had to gain 10 pounds for the Kath & Kim show and she said she cant wait to get rid off them!

There is something about this girl that I don’t like (once again, it’s personal) I think that she is very unattractive, especially her face!
i used to not like her either (like in legally blonde) but now I love her after watching kath and kim. i cannot believe she is 36 – i thought she was in her late twenties. and she looks amazing
I’m a pear, too, and would kill for her bottom and legs. She’s average to me, but looks slim and healthy.
I just realized this is probably my body type. is there a link to clothing that flatters a reverse V shape? thanks
i’m a V shape too =).. is good to use on the botton light colors like white.. and on te top use dark colors.. that really works!
and also use bottons with desings and on top just use a color with no desing
Here are a few tips!
– volume on the bottom (puffy skirts, ruffles, wide-leg pants that balance your figure), but don’t add more volume on top
– you also look great in skinny jeans because you have thin legs, but pair them with a longer top
– dark colors on top, lighter colors on the bottom, pants / skirts with big patterns like Pia said
– Yes to A-line skirts, but probably No to pencil ones
– no ruffles / sequins / frills / pockets / extra decorative elements on top, but wear them on the bottom
– vertical stripes on top, horizontal stripes on the bottom
– long tops, but not oversized – the tops should cover your hips
– V necklines, avoid square and off-the-shoulders necklines
– wear long and delicate necklaces, but avoid chokers and massive necklaces or big earrings
– you don’t need voluminous hair or extra big hats, they unbalance your figure
– any items that give you more waist definition are recommended

I’m slim pear shape and I would rather have cellulite than have her body from the waist down. Or waist up. Actually I cannot decide, which half of her body is worse…
Legs are too thin, hips…(hm… where are her hips?), flat butt, strange stomach, shortage of bust, wide shoulders…
She can be a definition of not too thin, not too fat, but completely unsexy woman.
I guess not all of us can have a perfect body like yours?

I just consider for example Jessica Lowndes’s body as perfect and all I was trying to say is that I don’t understand all these delighted comments about Selma Blair’s body. It’s quite average or just ugly.

It is true that she does not look very feminine, but she cannot change her body type and I believe she works well with what she’s got. She’s not overweight for her body type, she has good skin and her body looks young. So, although I wouldn’t want her body over my own, I still think she looks great for her age.
i always loved selma, she looks so fit and young, although shes over 30 now! however, she seems to have gained a little lately.

I really disliek her body, but she works what with she got so…
I have no problems at all with Selma Blair. She’s a petite woman. Small
breasts look good and normal on her. Why would she want to look like
Pamela Andersons’ boobs which just don’t look right? What’s wrong with
small breasts? Pam actually looked better before the trans plant. Now days,
when I check Pam pics, I avoid the top and look at the rest. Some folks
won’t look at her at all anymore.
ughhh you guys are so negative. this woman has a great body for her age and she must work very hard to maintain it just like any other woman with a curvy body. its not all about tities and ass. she looks really good in that bikini because shes not fat. as long as the midsection doesnt have any jelly rolls or muffin tops it’ll be fine wearing a bikini.
