Queen Latifah in a Purple Gown at People’s Choice Awards

I just realised that we haven’t talked about Queen Latifah on our little site yet – and since she’s a little more than curvy (she’s reportedly a little over 200 lbs. at 5’10”), I think she deserves a post!
So, here she is looking very purple on the red carpet last night in an empire waist dress.
How do you like the gown on Queen Latifah’s full figure?

Pia, was that really necessary? Yea, she’s a big woman, I don’t think there is anything that she can wear that will hide that, but she can wear clothes that are flattering to her figure, and this dress does just that, it flatters her figure very nicely.
I saw her on TV and she looked fabulous! Yes she is big and so what? This dress is perfect for her.
She’s happy @her size, and I think that’s beautiful… being skinny & insecure isn’t hot.
She’s one of the few women who can carry her weight so well, and she ALWAYS looks gorgeous. Didn’t know that she was 5’10″…

I actually think she looks gorgeous. She’s been getting alot of crap for this dress but I think its beautiful and its the best ive seen her look yet.
no doubt about it, she is big. and im pretty sure, SHES AWARE OF THAT. she is a true role model, not just for full figured women but to all. to have confidence and show ur inner beauty, that is what she represents. however, in this pic, SHE NEEDS A STYLIST!!! her hairdo is yikes and her dress, is fine, but she cud work another outfit muchh better. (i do love that purple shade)
I like Queen Latifah. She always seems to have an air of self-confidence. The dress doesn’t do her justice.
she looks like a big piece of candy. nice dress, but less flowy and a little more figure hugging would have accentuated the fact, that she has got a figure, better.
She is very big, but she’s taking ownership of her body. You can tell she doesn’t care what anybody thinks, and is very confident. The dress is also very, very beautiful. I give her a thumbs up.
Sorry I was once 183 lbs at 5’6″ and did not look anywhere near this huge I would say she is weel over 200lbs!!

I JUST HAPPEN TO COME ACROSS THIS PHOTO OF MZ. OWENS AND I MUST ADMIT SHE IS EXACTLY AS SHE IS REFERRED TO , A BLACK , BOLD , BEAUTIFUL , AND BODACIOUS LADY. YES SHE IS FULL FIGURED BUT SHE WEARS IT VERY WELL AND WITH MUCH CLASS. I SAY BE YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU DEFINITELY CAN’T BE ANYONE ELSE…
