Lea Michele’s Long Dress on the Fuchsia Carpet

‘Glee’ star Lea Michele was spotted at the 2010 FOX Television Critics Association All-Star Party the other night… and she looked all dolled up, pretty and thin in a long, strapless dress on the red fuchsia carpet.
How do you like her look on this occasion? In case you’re wondering, she’s 23 years old.
She looks so good! love her dress
She looks good, but not like she’s 23. I guessed she’s 28.
Or maybe I have wrong perception
I for one thinks she looks late twenties too.
She has a strong nose, strong jawline and wide mouth for a woman. On another woman those features might produce an androgynous appearance, but on Lea masculine slant of those features is countered by the extreme femininity of her big eyes/long lashes/full lips (and fabulous hair). Instead of making her look androgynous, they make her look mature.
She’s really quite striking. I do portrait sculpture, so I spend a lot of time analyzing faces. I love a face like Lea’s — undeniably beautiful, and at the same time very different from Hollywood’s cookie-cutter version of “pretty.”
she definitely does look a little aged. even though angelina had a very androgynous face, she looked young for a long time, but lea looks a lot older than her age.
I don’t think she’s pretty facially…
She has features that, for me, are very hard to tell where she comes from…
But I think she’s great weight-wise, I love her hair and I LOVE LOVE LOVE glee!!

Alot of people have that kind of nose. Most celebrities have plastic surgery to have that cutesy nose (jessica biel, halle barry ect.)..just so you know…
Her father is hispanic/jewish – large features are common in spain btw, big eyes, big lips, strong noses etc, should she cover up her ethncity and her true features she was born with by getting cosmetic surgery to look like the cookie-cutter hollywood image? That would be so sad.

I love her nose. Its nice to see a beautiful woman with a (hopefully) natural nose that isnt a perfect little unobtrusive thing. women have noses, damnit.

young actresses tend to wear clothes that make them look a bit older, but i guess it’s not a big problem if we’re talking about showw bussiness and staff. it became comon

I’d rather young actresses dress like this than like Miley Cyrus. She looks amazing. What’s funny is I think you could put someone older in this dress and think she were younger. I just feel Lea seems mature.
i agree. some people have an older look. one of my friends when we were younger never got id’d even when we were about 16, but I regularly get id’d and i am now 32!
and i really hope she never ever gets a nose job. she has a great face. very striking.

I think it’s pretty harsh and pointless to criticize features a person has no control over (i.e. their nose). I think she’s gorgeous and has a very unique look…lovely
On a side note I believe that her larger facial features tend to make her appear as though she is larger than she really is if all you see is a picture of her face. When you get a whole body shot you see how truly tiny this girl is

I’m indifferent about her face, she seems very average to me face wise, but her look is always pulled together and she always looks nice. I don’t watch Glee, maybe if I did I’d take more of an interest in her since I haven’t seen her anywhere else.

I think she looks great! Refreshing to see someone who looks halfway unique. I like that her make up isn’t as heavy and dark as it often is at dressy events.

she’s a weirdo. supposedly she went off in this cooking issue of a magazine about her italian heritage…but then she was said to be half hispanic…later. Lame.

She is half Italian, half Spanish-Jewish according to wikipedia. I don’t see a problem with identifying with both parents’ cultures.
The way people are obsessed with race in the US seems crazy to me. And what is this Hispanic category anyway? People from Latin America aren´t all the same and can have a variety of ethnic backgrounds. On top of that, Americans seem to mix up Iberians with Latin Americans. On a final note, sephardic jews are jews from Iberia.

You act as if people, Americans specifically, do not know this.)

Sorry, i really didn´t mean it that way. In hindsight, i should have phrased it differently.
I don’t know why it is so important, but I found many more people asked me ‘what are you?’ (I’m half East Asian, half Caucasian) when I went to North America for a few years. I didn’t get it as much anywhere else. So I would say that race is certainly a hot topic. There are also a number of people who get mixed up with ethnic backgrounds, but I’ve found that to be the case in many places.
Why is that lame? She’s multi-racial. Are you saying she’s just supposed to pick one race and only one to identify with even though she’s mixed?
Nice to see her not wearing over the top makeup and styling as she usually does at these kind of events, she seems to style herself much older than she really is. She looks pretty and fresh here.
I dont watch glee though so I am not a fan of hers in particular, and I read she is kind of mean in person :S

I have to agree… if I was her I would try not to get caught in side profile. In the first pic I was like – oh she’s okay lookin, even pretty. Then I saw the side profile and was like “What a honker!”…. *wide eyes*.

as someone said before, I’m pretty sure her nose looks bigger since she lost weight.I’ve seen weight loss make a dramatic difference on a woman’s nose before, so this doesnt surprise me
i love love love lea michele! and i rely like her dress, but i dont think she looks old..to me her face just looks gaunt or lacking a healthy glow, probably parshally from her weight loss and the choice of makeup. none the less shes stunning-different than “typicall hollywood” i hope she doesnt go plastic!
I like it on her, she looks really good in it. The problem is it makes her look older than she is. She IS 23 in a 26 year old’s dress! But I don’t think that it is so over the top and wild that it is WAY too old for her, you know? It’s just that it looks a little too old for her age! She still looks cute though.
