Curvy Scale Time! Rate Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas!

Trying really hard to balance the skinny and the curvy celebrities here – and occasionally it might need some curvy C list celebs to do so. So, here is The Bachelorette’s DeAnna Pappas (who was looking slimmer on the show, but hey, don’t they all “diet on work day and indulge on vacay”?).
And since we’ve got one curvy girl in a bikini, why not do a Curvy Scale! Not familiar with our rating system? Here is how it is: Rate DeAnna from 1 to 10, where 1 means “skinny, waif, rail thin” and 10 means… “Kim Kardashian”.
Versus’s expert rating: DeAnna deserves an 8+ with applauds! Boobs? Got them! Hips? Surely there! Waist definition, Spot on! Meaty Thighs? Definitely!

She looks a little fat, but not much. I would want to lose like 10 lbs if I was her.

I agree, Kim is curvier because her proportions are different, she is an exagerated hourglass. Deanna looks awsome too and she’s got the 8 shape, but not as OMG as Kim’s.

Don’t hate, work what you have, but don’t get it twisted…this is the body type the vast majority of straight men prefer, not to say beauty doesn’t come in all shapes and sizes (it does) but just to be blunt and say this is the type of body that turns most men on (regardless of race and age.)

she’ll be obese. c’mon. there’s a limit to curves. and notice, she wasnt always this curvy. shes putting on weight. and shes pretty young. before you know it, she’ll look like someones mom. im just saying, im straight. i love curves, as james pointed all men do. BUT TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR BODDDY. imagine after a baby, woahh. god bless pregnant women, but its a fact, you gain weight after. if your starting off like this, imagine the after picture. you think that guy shes jumping around with on the beach will still find her attractive? Well if this is a woman that never works out with a body like that then think how incredible she would look if she did work out! Her body shape is perfection even she is not as lean as she could be.
ok wow… i have a similiar body type like this…. god didnt bless me with a skinny figure but with curves. i work out, & yea i have more lean muscle then she, but a skinny skinny bosy is all in your body structure, its not natural for some people to be extremely skinny, and honestly i think DeAnn has a nice body and im a girl. i judge women’s curves all the time… skinny women… well dont look like women, & actualy end up gaining weight with age as everyone does, yet they dont get curves… they just gain weight and in the long run end up looking less great unless they take care of themselves. i think its more of a blessing for a lady to have nice curves then to be skinny… but she needs to take care of her body and be careful of what she eats plain and simple.

Wow your statement couldn’t be more hateful and wrong.
1) Unless a woman has an Adam’s apple, narrow hips and wide shoulders, they look like a woman. And men will instinctively take them to look like a woman because they don’t have a manly shape.
2) Curves don’t translate into weight. You can have curves but be extremely thin. What makes curves is mostly bone structure (especially the width of the shoulders vs. bust vs. waist vs. width of hips). A skinny woman can have an exaggerated waist to hip ratio and look curvy, and a thicker woman can be an apple shape and have horrible waist to hip ratio and no curves.
3) Gaining weight as a part of aging is true for almost every body type, with exceptions for all the body types. I would venture to say that it is rarer for skinny women since their genes don’t allow for them to gain weight easily, but there are plenty of other women who are heavier who don’t gain weight. It depends on your genes and how well you take care of yourself, not your thinness.
4) Everyone needs to take care of themselves and be careful of what they eat, not just “curvy women.”
5) I’m glad you praise your body and love your body, but in the process of praising yours, I wish you wouldn’t put others down. There are plenty of skinny women who have always been skinny and cannot gain weight. There is no reason to put others down so that you feel better. Skinny or curvy, it’s all beautiful as long as the person is healthy and it fits their body type.
I agree with you Casey. When I was in High school i was on the cheer leading squad and one of our flyers was this teeny little 5’0 tall thing that probably weighed like 90 pounds. But she had bombshell curves because the shape of her thighs were very round, but not big. She had a teeny tiny waist and skinny arms, and curvy thighs. A true hour glass shape. Like Jennifer Love Hewitt. She’s small but with amazing curves because of her shape. And I’ve seen really big women who look like their little legs can’t even support their massive upper body. It’s in the shape.
