Ashley Greene Reveals Her “New Moon” Diet & Workout
November 23, 2009 in Ashley Greene, Celebrity Quotes, General by Versus

Us Magazine’s got the details:
How did Ashley Greene get fit for New Moon?
“It was really easy,” the actress, 22, told Usmagazine.com Saturday at the Magnificent Mile Festival of Lights event in Naperville, Il. “We were working 12 hours a day, so it didn’t leave too much time to eat.”
After her response, her publicist nudged her, but Greene didn’t seem to care about her blunt answer. When she did eat, she chose “really healthy stuff, which was nice.”
Greene also said that training extensively for the sequel — which had the third biggest box office opening of all time — accounted for her figure in the movie.
“We had a personal trainer and then we also had fight training,” she told Us. “It was a good four hours a day of training.”
To stay in shape these days, she said she does Pilates, usually six days a week.
“I do it early in the morning. It wakes you up, and it’s kind of refreshing,” said Greene, who is headed to London in a few months to begin filming the thriller The Apparition. “And that is basically it. Sometimes cardio. I am not a big weight person because when I do weights I build muscle mass.”

in the outfit with the black top/gold skirt she looks different than in the mag. maybe its the picture angle.
The magazine is very photoshoped.
she doesnt lokk like she had lost any weight:/
she’s cute but she looks like a boy:| i don’t like her body type
everyone will stay in shape/lose weight if they dont have access to food for a while. i understand. i believe her. she s a cutie. yes her figure is bit boyish but she looks so perfect for her pixie like role of Alice.
if you don’t have access to food you’ll lose weight but I don’t think you’ll stay in shape. I don’t think she ate as little as she says, if you do four hours of training a day and you don’t eat you’ll suffer very much, training makes you really hungry.
i agree, and i think she might have meant that there’s no time to eat too much, ppl have tons of reasons to eat unhealthy but i know i tend to eat more healthy when i’m busy and then pig-out when i’m bored. But that training alone is enough to keep an already slim girl in shape i’m sure, so she prob. didn’t have to do anything drastic to her eating habits.
what’s with her nose? did she get a nosejob?? it doesn’t look natural at all…
I was thinking the exact same thing! Gotta be the work of a surgeon…and not very good at that.
Some people just have weird shaped noses. Maybe the reason its odd is because she DIDNT get surgery on it.
She looks so masculine in the first pic… And I don’t really like her face – it looks kinda weird.
Your face looks kinda weird…
something about her face is off to me too…
I don’t think she looks masculine, she has boobs and shapely legs…she does look kind of rectangular in the pic with the golden skirt though.
And it sure looks like she got a nose job.
I don’t know her. What is she famous for? Just for New Moon?
OMG GAYS you’re crazy!!!!!!! She have a masculine figure just because of her shoulders? Come on!! She has boobs and nice legs, like Sharen said. And also, she seems to have a small waist… I don’t think that just because her shoulder are large she has a boysh figure!!
ooops sorry I meant GUYS not GAYS
How is her nose not normal? What makes it look like she’s had a nose job? I’ve seen a picture of her from high school and she had the same nose. I highly doubt she had a nose job at seventeen.
People aren’t allowed to have a turned up nose? lolol
As for her body, I think she’s really fit. I think she looks great and works what she has. I love her in that red dress.
Gorgeous girl – especially in that red dress! I barely recognized her from Twilight with her hair long.
she looks like a MUCH hotter version of Sophia Bush.
She’s got a very ‘Jessica Biel’ body-type. Naturally very muscular and can handle a little bit of extra weight because she’s big framed. It also helps that she’s tall. Anyway, I like her body type. If I was a bit taller, I would definitely strive for that body.
I don’t think she should be afraid of building a little muscle mass. I have always thought she looks a tad too soft for her build- shes one of those body types that looks better toned. Can’t stand her face or acting skills though.
And the girl can’t dress herself for sh*t. She dresses like a clueless 30 something. That red dress in particular is god awful- something that Hayden P would wear (she loves to rock the nanna gowns)…
its so good to see someone who doesnt look like theyre trying to get back to their birth weight. and its refreshing that shes honest about how hard she works to maintain her figure instead of the old “oh im just really lucky i have a fast metabolism; i eat like a pig” bull we normally hear
i love ashley greene and kristen stewart posts, can you please post some more of them in the future, versus?
oh and lol at the creepy lady behind ashley in that first red dress pic
hot hot hot HOT! she’s sooo pretty! *jealous*….
that black and gold outfit is AWFUL though…. :/
lol atleast shes truthful and doesnt babble all the crap her publicist tell her to. funny post. and its true if you want to have a skinny body you cant eat alot unless you exercise a lot. i have to eat 900 calories PLUS 1 hour cardio 5 times a week to maintain my 50 kilos body on my 165cm frame.
She is absolutely gorgeous. Anyone who keeps critising her has nothing better to do and is blatantly jealous. And she is honest which is the best thing, its a very rare trait in hollywood. I can’t stand it when celebrities lie about how they lost weight.
She is perfect in her role as Alice, exactly as I imagined.
I think her face is her best feature, it has strong lines and that makes her so sexy, I don’t think she went through a nose job. I know many people that have noses like that.
I think her nose is beautiful. Seriously. I’d love watch her perfect nostrils quiver in ecstacy sometime. Who has a better nose than hers? Not many. Maybe Kristen Bell.
