Eva, Is That You?

There’s SO much Photoshop floating around here, that it’s not even funny. Let’s see:
1. Eva is 5’2, not 5’9”. This figure belongs to a much taller person, they’ve performed some “stretching” on her.
2. The I-can’t-believe-they-liquified-it-this-much WAIST. I’m mostly upset about pic 1 and 2.
3. This is SO NOT her body type. The real Eva does not have the most defined waist, yet alone this cropped 19 inch waist she’s got here, she actually gains weight in her lower abdomen and hips.
4. The size of the bust in pic 1?
5. She really looks older on the cover than in real life. WHY?

And on another note, how do you like Eva with short hair?
I don’t see anything dramatically different about her. I probably don’t pay as close attention to her body as others. I really can’t determine height from images, either. I don’t have that gift. She probably looks older because of the shorter hair. In my opinion, shorter hair tends to mature people a bit. She looks fabulous to me . . . in real life too.

Her proportions are odd becuase they made her longer, she looks totally different, it’s really not her bod.
it doesnt even look like her in the face in some of the pics. i agree, way to much photoshop
umm, okay, the first pic looks weird. they elongated her body waaay too much, though just like KG, i cannot determine people’s height only from pictures. but this one seems pretty obvious even to me.
the rest – her waist seems tiny, but isn’t it like that in real life? to me it doesn’t seem too unnatural/airbrushed.
in passing, i hate the cover. i’m so sick of this i-have-this-terrible-headache-my-head-is-going-to-fall-off pose. sooo overused.
I thought the first picture was Elisha Dushku…

When I saw the first photo and the post title, I genuinely thought ‘Eva who?’ because she looks so unlike herself!
I thought the same! She’s so much better ‘in real life’.

i wouldn’t have given these pictures a second thought…they aren’t touched up any more than every other picture in every other magazine.
I couldn’t even work out which Eva it was at first, it looks nothing like her. I love the styling of the shoot, but they have manipulated her to the point that she is unrecognisable. Her skin looks a lot lighter too.
What is the point of airbrushing a celebrity to the point where they are unrecognisable as themselves?
ok, i think you are sooooo exaggerating.
1. she doesn’t look taller on the pictures.. you can look taller without photoshop.. why do you think that when someone says that X person is 5’2 we are suprised?
2. i think that the photoshoped a little bit the waist, but IT’S NOT INSANE. cus she has lost a lot of weight so its possible that she has reduce her waist.
3. that tipe of skirt helps a lot with the waist-hip ratio.
4. yeah, her boobs looks a lot bigger.

i think that her face was the most photoshoped part of her body… the last picture doesnt look like her!
Hmm… I still think that these pictures are not true to her body type at all, based on my experience with Photoshop – you can compare with other pics of Eva from the Eva Longoria category.

Probably because there’s a slight shade of ash blonde in her hair, plus they made her face a little slimmer, more angular – rounder faces usually have a youthful vibe (baby face = round face). To me, her face seems more fresh / beautiful in reality.

i thought she was kylie mingoue or hwoever you spell her name in the first and last picture
2nd & 3rd pictures look like Cheryl Cole twisted.
She’s a gorgeous woman, but this is a hideous photoshoot.
How can you tell that her body has been elongated when there is no standard-sized item next to her to compare? E.g. a chair.
I used to post on a forum where nearly everyone was convinced you could tell a person was short from their body proportions. I tested this theory by having people look at a picture of someone’s body (with nothing to compare it to) and the majority of people were at least 5 inches off the true height. People even guessed a 5’4″ woman to be 5’10″ because she was slim. Is that why she seems taller? Due to them photoshopping her slimmer?
that doesn’t look like her at all. i agree that they clearly photoshopped her waist and stretched her out. do these people not remember that we see candid pictures of these celebs ALL THE TIME?
Why would anyone want to photoshop Eva that much, it’s way too over done she is more beautiful in real life than theses pics show.
she looks like a massive drag queen in the 1. pic, an Amazon-woman, wow, so Eva…. The rest… well, it’s what they always do, waist, legs, bleh… Actually i don’t think her waist looks too tiny in any than the 1. pic, but i agree it doesn’t seem like her body at all.. though i’ve never thought she’d have a thick waist, to me she’s like a slim hour glass/pear. But yeah, i’m not the master in noticing features, i’d be the worst witness of a crime, but i see a difference here, so it MUST be huge:) i had to look at her last name before i knew who she was, 1. looks nuthin’ like her (i’m from finland and i assumed it was one of those starlets that aren’t that known outside US.)
She looks good in all the pictures…She looks good with or without photoshop
