2010 MTV European Music Awards hostess Eva Longoria went through multiple stage costume changes last night – and one of them is particularly interesting. Eva went with the trend and sported booty-revealing shorts (?) that showed off her lower curves.

I agree I was thinking the same. I am not a pin thin image promoter but she is naturally very petite girl and some extra (compare to what she used to be like for many years) weight does not look great on her. It is on her belly and tights. Also I am amazed how a proper outfit can make you to look times smaller. Observing the red dress pic I would have never guessed about her weight gain. Like 2 different bodies.
haahahha bottom curves! Well, i can’t say the outfit is what i would’ve picked out, but she has a nice ass! It reminds me of mine in its relative smallness to her body (obv, i’m not a small as eva). She’s got legs like mine too- super small at the bottom and small on top, but end up looking bigger in comparision.

i think both of these outfits are terrible choices the first one is very unflattering, even though she’s showing off so much leg they manage to look really stumpy. As for the second outfit it just looks really tacky. Her arms do look really tonied though and i think she is in pretty good shape just these outfits are not up to her usual classy standards and do her no favours.
Completely agree with you. The leotard with ruffles is horrible and does nothing for her figure. On the contrary, it highlights all her flaws….. so unflattering.
The red dress could be ok but for some reason it doesn’t look good on her.

She does not have a body for rocking the micro shorts anymore. She has put on some weight and it does not look good. IMO. Her face is super pretty though.

An unfortunate pear, Eva? Yeah, me too. No matter how skinny I can become, my ass and tighs and HIPS appear way bigger than the rest of my body. It’s so unfair. . . I mean, no matter how hard I try to be slim/skinny/whatever, I still have wide hips and bigger tighs. I have 0 boobs, my neck is veery long, so as my slim arms and legs until knees, and it upsets me. I’m so jealous for girls who have normal shaped bodies, I mean wheter they’re ‘ruler’ or ‘hourglass’ type. I’ve been suffering from being pear since I was 12. . . I can’t get over it and I will never like my body. Damn it.

Don’t necessarily assume another body type is easier to dress than yours. That’s something I’ve learned over the past few years. I’m an hourglass, but I have very thick legs (where as some hourglasses ala Kelly Brook have very slim legs.)
A pear-shaped body such as you describe is very much ‘normal’. A big majority of women are pears or rulers. I’m a fairly extreme pear too, flat chest, skinny upper body, all my muscle and fat in my butt and thighs. I like it though, I wouldn’t trade my lower curves for anything even though they’re not balanced by a bust.
I am also a pear, and i have serious issues with my legs. not only are they short, but it’s like my bones and tendons are too far apart or something. no matter how skinny i get (my ribs are showing most of the time) my legs always look “fat.” they just don’t taper at the knee. whenever i get upset about that, though, i look behind me. i wouldn’t trade my butt for anything.
i find it really pathetic that you seem to think having hips is wrong! you are a female!!! you need hips to have children! and “suffering” from being a pear! grow up how is anyone suppost to love you if you dont even like the fact you a woman!

I don’t mind the top 3/4 of her body, and I like the bottom 1/4 of her body. But the problem is they don’t seem to go together. Her calves seem way too small for those hips and thighs (not saying her hips and thighs are huge, just that her calves and ankles are super tiny). So while she’s definitely not fat, she just looks a bit out of proportion.
Red dress is nice. But this whole ‘no pants’ fashion is totally wrong and sets such a bad standard. Women. should wear fricken pants. men should wear pants. Its totally inappropriate to be wearing an outfit suitable for the beach around. Shes not even a singer dancing around, she’s what, presenting? WEAR PANTS

i used to really like her figure but i think she doesnt carry the extra weight well….it makes her legs looks really disproportionate and she get a slight belly, which is fine but if you have a slight belly tight clothes aren’t the best option..

Versus, since everybody is asking you this… can you tell what body shape do I have? (doesn’t have to be right, just guesses)
My measurements are 31 – 22.5 – 33.5 and I’m 5’5 tall. My shoulders are the same width as my hips, my ribcage is big and I’m kinda skinny (can see most of my bones) so this would be my actual shape. Oh and my thighs are 19 inches, pretty muscular.
Anything else missing?

Eva Longoria is built tiny. Very small boned. Most folks
should find her quite attractive. I do. She could easily
play the part of a young girl even at her age. Don’t be
surprised if “Desperate Housewives” runs a lot longer,
that the big kid that is suppose to be her daughter will
play the part of the mother and Eva plays the part of
the daughter. She’s probably about 10 or 11 now, but
even at this point, she is already much bigger than
Eva. Heightwise, they might be close but the kid is
noticeably heavier. Playing Evas’ daughter at this
point, could start to look a little odd, but I suppose
such a situation might also be possible in real life.
Her name is Madison De La Garza. She was born 12/28/01 but you are right in the fact that at 9 years
old is already bigger than Eva Longoria. Eva is taller but Madison outweighs Eva 127 to 104. Show wants to replace her but I would disapprove. That’s not fair if she’s a good actress. All they have to do is change
the plott somehow to make it so that Eva is proven
not to be the biological mother. My guess is that if
she already outweighs Eva by 20+ pounds at 9, she’ll
probably outweigh Eva 2 to 1 by the time she is 12
or 13. Granted they won’t look like mother and
daughter, but even in the hospital scene when Juanita
got hit by a car, Eva went to the nurse and told her
“You just can’t accept the fact that the acorn produced
the oak!” Eva being the acorn and Madison the oak.
My suggestion is rather than fire everybody because
people don’t meet TVs physical standards is stupid.
Life doesn work that way anyway.
