Every other week or so, one celebrity gets brave and dramatically changes her hair cut / color. Today’s makeover? Emma Watson, who is rocking a much shorter do.
How do you feel about the change? Let’s see how Emma feels:
“I missed all that experimentation that most teenagers go through. I’ve wanted to do this since I was about 16, so as soon as I had the chance I was like, ‘Right. This is it.”

She is very plain but looks much more interesting with her new short haircut. So I say makeover.
Makeover! She looks much more …interesting? I don’t know if that’s the right word, but she looks great with her gamine cut.
I’m not a big fan of the new hair, but if it makes her happy I’ll say it’s a makeover.
I don’t like it but at least it makes her interesting and puts her magazines, cuz otherwise no one would care about her
I highly doubt she is one of those celebrities that care if she is ‘in magazines’.

it’s cute, but it also ages her.
That’s probably her intent….a more mature and sophisticated look to get as far away as possible from the Hermione Granger character she has portrayed for so long.
I think it’s fantastic. And really, if it ages her, it’s quite a good thing. Emma often looks younger than her 20 years.

Not a big fan of pixie cuts, but I guess she pulls it off.
She definitely has the bone structure for this haircut, however I feel like it ages her. I’m on the fence, I like it, but I don’t.

Usually I like when famous girls do something out of what’s expected, and I usually really like this haircut too…
But I don’t think it suits her very well…

‘experimentation’? Yeh right, if there is one group of teenagers that never misses out on experimentations it is celebrity girls.
As for her hair cut i don’t like it, just doesn’t suit her face.
I’m pretty sure she meant experimenting with hairstyles, since this is what’s she’s commenting on. Because she’d been doing Harry Potter for 10 years, she probably wasn’t allowed to dye or cut it any way she liked

I LOVE it! it’s sooo cute and most women couldn’t pull off a style like this, but emma does really well! she looks beautiful and VERY mia farrow-ish!
A bit too short for me to like it. I’m petite (short) like her and with a haircut like this and not very obvious boobs, I would feel obliged to dress extra feminine for fear of being mistaken for a young boy. Though since she’s famous, she doesn’t have to worry about that!

I’ve always thought that she was pretty but also sort of average. I mean, I wonder what she would look like if she didn’t have stylists preparing her and the money to afford whatever she wants. In some pictures she looks like some girl you’d see walking down the street while in others she looks quite pretty. Anyway, I think the new hair gives her a dramatic look and gets people talking, which was probably her aim, seeing that she posted pictures of herself and chatted about it. It looks good and is a nice change for an experiment. She should return to her long hair eventually though as I prefer that.

Well I am her age, and I actually got that exact same hair cut when I was 16 lol, so I definitely understand what she’s talking about.

before was a bit boring, after looks great, but makes her look too old, I wish she’d opted for something a little less classic
She definately has the right features for this cut! It does age her a bit, but not in a bad way.
However, I think that the Hermione role was pretty complacent with the changes on her appearance. By the third movie, her hair looked nothing like her character’s at all! Of course, it would probably not have been the same with such a radical change.
I’m not a fan of the new hair…I like short hair and I think she has the features to pull it off but I think it’s just a little too short.

I saw this on another site and it’s a complete MAKEUNDER. She looked so much better before. And while her face is beautiful, I don’t think it’s feminine enough to pull of that short of a hairstyle. Maybe she should have went with a bob.
But whatever, she’s just experimenting, and hair grows back eventually.
Make OVER – LOVE it. Not very many people can carry that kind of haircut off. She’s so beautiful that she clearly can!

I bet with smoky eyes or with a punk look she would look amazing *-* me like
it brings out her eyes (as does the extra mascara and cleaned up brows) but I’m betting from experience that she’ll want her long hair back pretty soon
I’m undecided. In this photo I think Makeover, but I’m not so keen on it in the candids I’ve seen of it. Glad she did it though, if it’s something she wanted, and if she likes it then it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks

Sometimes getting a drastic shorter hairstyle can make a woman look younger. But in Emma’s case, she definitely looks older.
I think if her hair were cut in a different style, it would look better.
nooo i’m so sad she did this! she was STUNNING with her long hair. i guess she looks alright..but it just doesn’t suit her. she doesn’t look as feminine as she did before. she has a gorgeous face, but still..i definitely prefer her with her beautiful long hair.

In this picture the hair looks amazing on her. Especially because it brings out her eyes so much better.
On the candids I’ve seen of her with her new do I am not so sure if it looks good. It is a rather boyish cut combined with her broadish shoulders and small hips it could look unfeminine depending on how she is styling it.
I guess I’d prefer something less drastic.

i find that girls tend to wear more eye makeup when they cut their hair short lime this (i did it as well)
it just inspires them to be more tiwggy or mia farrow esque, which i think is awesome!
im a big supporter of girls cutting their hair short, even just once for the experience and i think it looks amazing on her. shes so beautiful in a very real way and this adds some interest to her look which i think is perfect for distancing herself from hermione granger.

I LOOOOVE IT!! She looks fabulous and really like young Mia Farrow. SHe is beautiful in both pictures, but it is definetely a nice change, and hair always grow back. I wish I had guts to do this, but then again, I have always wanted long hair…
