Okay, can I just say I think she has such a beautiful face! Wow! And her skin is flawless. Love her! So glad to see her rocking a body part other than her cleavage. However, I don’t like this dress on her. I don’t think it does anything for her body

I agree that this not the best dress for her. It’s the neckline that bothers me. She should stick with the deep scoops and V’s she often wears. Turtle necks are for flat chested people. She’s got the chest, and she should flaunt it.
Ugh, I hate it when people say that. I have nice legs and hips, but that doesn’t mean I flaunt it whenever I can. I think it just makes people look sad when they flaunt.
Lovely dress, I really think it suits her. We are so used to the idea of high heels that we cringe whenever we see someone wearing flats. Also, we are used to the idea of very thin women with thin legs, arms, etc. Christina Hendricks has a normal, healthy body. I like how she looks in this dress, and, yes, if it were me, would have used high heels. I wish the media would portray more women who looked like her.

Does anyone else see a bit of Ashlee Simpson in her face??? I totally do! On another note she looks the best I’ve ever seen her. I cant stand it when she has her cleavage all sloppy and out everywhere. Sorry but that picture of her in the New york magazine made me want to toss my cookies. If you are large in the chest make sure they have support. Or else it is just disturbing.

She looks beautiful as always and I actually think that her face is similar to Angelina Jolie’s, but that’s just my opinion.
I love this look on her, the in-your-face cleavage look she is usually sporting always seems a bit OTT, it distracts from her natural beauty. She looks great here.

I don’t know why but I find her extremely beautiful in Mad Men but on paparazzi pictures…not so much…don’t get me wrong but she’s like the ultimate, breathtaking bombshell in the series and “only” a very pretty woman in the red carpet pics. still very attractive!!!

i think also some people look better in ‘motion’ if that makes sense? Like, the personality makes them or something…or even just sometimes still photos take the life away…cant really explain it. but i know a few people who are breathtaking in real life but then just dont look good in stills!
My friends & I have always found that the most beautiful people we know never look as radiant as in photographs. And it’s the not-so-attractive ones that appear better in stills than in life. I think it has something to do with features- beautiful and striking faces often have features which might proportionally seem off in photographs, or they are diminished. Whereas, comparatively, the ‘plainer’ faces don’t look as ‘harsh’. It’s hard to explain haha- but it’s definitely true!
Oh, and to clarify- we’re talking about just normal photographs here- not professional photographers and makeup artists! Although that being said, even then some peoples beauty can’t be truly captured. There are some amazing shots of Gemma Ward, but in life, she is something else altogether. You just can’t take your eyes off her.

i totally get what you are saying! many beautiful people have “special” features that make them uniquely gorgeous when you are face to face with them, and at times their faces don’t translate well in still photographs… oh the woes of beauty!!!
I’m just like that! In real life I’m such a knockout, but on photoes I just look kind of blah.. ;D My Sister always looks amazing on photographs. I have a theory that it’s the nose. Hers is much better.. =/ But I think I’ll survive.. ;D

She looks good, but heels would’ve looked better with the outfit and elongated her body. I think she is a text book hourglass.

I’ve never understood the “tiny waist” thing about her at all. It’s a very unimpressive ratio, and only really noticeable with corsets & shapewear (which doesn’t count!)
To me she is a cello shape, not an hourglass.
She does have beautiful skin and a captivating smile, although I still much prefer January/Betty (when it comes to Mad Men anyway!)

She is very beautiful with gorgeous red hair and skin. Her body is much to big for my taste. She could definitley lose some weight from her middle and would look much better. The dress is horrid and does nothing for her at all.

I don’t appreciate how some of the comments regarding beautiful Christina are negative……if it were a women who weighed 100 pounds in the dress everybody would bow down and rant about how good she looked. Just because a curvy hour glass women is wearing a short sexy black dress doesn’t mean she looks bad, in fact she looks fantastic! I admire her and society needs a wake up call skinny boy like bodies are not attractive women with healthy bodies and curves are attractive ^-^
The waist of that dress needs to be lower to match her natural waist. It makes her look a bit bigger than she is.
