March 15, 2010 in Cheryl Burke by Versus
Dancer Cheryl Burke is our bikini treat for the day – here she is having lots of fun in the sun in Miami by the pool.
Let’s summarize: Nice curves!
If anybody is wondering, Cheryl is 25!

Then look for more after the jump!

She should do more exercise. She looks chubby, a bit muscle wouldn’t do bad
Otherwise she looks normal.
you would think a professional dancer does some exercise, right? talking about being ignorant
and i don’t like this body, it is actually too curvy – where curvy is not an euphemism for anything.
She is pretty and has a good body imo. She needs to tone up. I am suprised to see a dancer being a little out of shape.
wow she is courageous most sexy ever seen
I hate skinny not curved girls
I agree with Uma. Of course she works out. However, she still has a high BF%. Either her body is like that and she can’t do much, or she doesn’t eat perfectly clean.
When you’re getting that much exercize as she does, I think health-wise you can get away with eating a lot of “unhealthy” food, so I don’t see why she should be eating perfectly clean. Her health will be fine either way,
And her career doesn’t consist of selling her body, it consists of selling what her body does. If her body can dance, who cares how toned she is? If she was a model or even an actress like Jessica Simpson who sells their looks, I would expect her to be more toned.
um, she does exercise! She’s a dancer. duh!
Well it doesn’t look like it.
no idea who she is, but she looks great to me. if i had this body i would be alot happier to wear a bikini than i am.
Agree !
Why does she ahve a flat belly but curves ??? it’s so unfair.
I feel like I’m the only one girl in the world who has curves (not as much though) and a fat belly. Talk about unatractive ! PLus I work out a lot ! .
*mature reaction is comming == crying*
aww honey, you’re not the only one! my boobs are tiny and i work out, and yet i’m not really thin, have a high muscle ration or low fat percentage, and i have tummy fat!
let’s just call ourselves special ^-^
i think this woman looks good, although i don’t know her.
Thank you ^^ Welcome to the club !
Actually I’m 5’5 and about 57 kilos… I’m not fat and I’m a hourglass, but this belly won’t go away !
I think I need surgery but I’m only 19 so I really can’t afford that !
I don’t know her neither, But I think she looks good and healthy !
A lot of women have a naturally rounder tummy. Most of them can’t even lose that by working out, because then sometimes muscles are also “sticking out”, know what I mean? Take Live Tyler for example, she was featured on this site with the same issue- thin, in shape, but with a “womanly tummy” as she calls it. It’s great that you take care of yourself, but to become really healthy you should embrace yourself and love who you are. That’s what makes you special- not a flat tummy made by a surgery!
Isn’t a small amount of belly fat good for fertility? You guys sound like you’re very in-shape, and maybe I’m being insensitive because I gain weight in my thighs and hips instead of my stomach, but I really think you’re sweating it too much. Looking fertile=looking attractive to men (that’s just nature).
I had the same problem before I switched to a low carb diet. I ate a bunch of whole grains before and I could never get rid of my belly fat even when the rest of me was too skinny!
Now that I only eat meat, fruits, and vegetables with tons of butter and fish oils and animal fats life is AMAZING. I no longer feel depressed and no longer struggle to keep my weight down. I hope this helps. I would blame you if you didn’t believe me either but that is because we are all brainwashed into thinking that a low fat high carb diet is the best when really the opposite it true. Try it for even just a few days and you will already start to feel better.
i think she looks really good. She actually looks healthy without a million bones showing. i think people forget that these people probably look way thinner in person because the camera defiinitly adds weight!
Wow! I think she looks great too, I have a similar body (only a larger bust) and I work out consistently and let me just say that it is nearly impossible to lose the weight around my hips!!!!
i know what you mean. i’m working a lot to lose that weight around my hips and it is real hard. i know in a thousand years it will go away
) but i have real issues with being patience.
anyway, i prefer having a bigger hips, than having a huge ass. my opinion. and looking at her i think she looks good. i would expect some more definition, but i know that with this kind of body you must work really really hard.
She’s not curvy she’s just fat
I agree… I think Kim Kardashian has a 1000 times better body than her! she’s got saddle bags
She’s very curvy, look at her waist/hip ratio! She’s not as fit looking as she has been in the past but wouldn’t call her fat either.
If you look, you can see that there is only about an inch of fat on her hips. The rest is bone structure. So yes, she is curvy.
“Fat?” I’m not even going to address such a stupid thing to say. Let’s just say if she was fat, she wouldn’t be able to dance.
Pssh, who should complain? I don’t see any spare tires, saddlebags, or extra jiggly fat on this lovely lady. She looks confident and happy, and my God, some men love this kind of body. They’d eat her alive lol. The only “too curvy” anything I worry about is when weight carried around the midsection or elsewhere can be compromising for the health. I hope she eats right. I like her in this bikini.
Hell no! She has a fantastic figure. If you think thats fat then you’ve got some issues, she looks health, fit, & toned. All three of what a dancer should be!
shes a good dancer…lets just say i dont wish for her body…
lol @ people who think this is fat. You need to get out of your house cause this isn’t even close to fat.
maybe not…kirstie ally fat….but definitely pudgy…esp for a dancer!!!
i would like to see her fromt he back! cause i am not a profesional dancer and my body is like hers…i don’t think we, or she has a dancer body…sure she looks good but meh.
She is definitely sexy. The type of woman like.
Must everyone wear a bikini? Sometimes the comparisons aren’t favourable. And I’m pretty sure other kinds of bathing suit would be more flattering.
This lady is hot! She looks so happy! I love her body and she does have some great curves!
She’s 25? No way she looks way older, like 40. Her curves are tooo big ick
seriously, wtf?
Also like the fact she proves you don’t have to be only hourglass shape to be curvy. Pears can be curvy too!
Well, she’s by no means fat. But I think she could do with some toning. She obviously does exercise since she’s a dancer but maybe some specific exercise for her tummy? I wouldn’t have guessed she was a dancer tbh.
Well I’m kind of happy to see these pictures, because I’m a bit like her (but my waist is smaller) But my point is : I don’t consider myself a fat or chubby girl … maybe I should when I read some comments ! I think it’s more appropriate to say “I’m curvy” or “she’s curvy”… it’s sad that some people are really mean and always dislike the body of everyone who’s not skinny ! Thanks i’ve got skinny friends who want my curves and are nice. And you cannot blame everyone who’s skinny, sometimes it’s just their body… Just eat healthy and be happy.
well i meant “i’ve got skinny friends who would like to have my curves” !!! not “want” ! lol
She should NOT lose weight. I mean, look at her chest, you can see her ribs between her boobs. She’s obviously has a healthy bf%, its just not proportionally distributed.
Also – the pics are unflattering, because you can’t see below her knees. Pears can look SO bad in these types of pictures, but if you could see her legs, I bet she wouldn’t look so freakish curved.
Regardless, this chick is probably a guy magnet. Most guys I know find this type of body SUPER hot.
agree, agree
Great waist-hip ratio. She’s in good shape as well.
WoW! Nice curves indeed!
Again, some of these comments are scary….not everyone is meant to be stick thin, there is a little thing called genetics involved in body type/shape. In fact, you could have two random people eat the exact same diet and the same exercise routine and they could look completely different and have different weights.
Personally I think she looks great and her face looks gorgeous (for once). I think she has atually lost a little bit of weight since the last time we saw her in a bikini!
Ballroom dancing doesn’t require the same physique as other forms like ballet or modern, nor does technique give you the same kind of musculature. I’m not saying it doesn’t require skill, just that from my experience it doesn’t require as much strength. One of my friends is a professional ballroom dancer and she is very curvy and a little soft–though definately not fat.
Good insight, thanks.
Very true. I have a friend that is a ballroom dancer and she’s quite thick (mainly because she lives on a beige dancer) but still fit and active.
Ballet dancers typically spend 5 hours a day training and a performance is about 2 – 3 hours and they do a lot of muscle work, hence why they are typically very thin.
Ballroom dancers, at least typically, don’t get the same type pf workout
Oh, hey, we have similar body types, apparently. I think I’m a bit smaller in the hip + thigh area and my abs are more defined, but almost! She looks good.
I’m sure people will disagree but I think she looks GREAT! Sexy and curvy. Perhaps she could do something about her almost love handles but really I think she looks amazing. And she’s obviously healthy and in great shape I mean you see how she can move on DWTS you can’t do that if you’re chubby or overweight.
she’s pretty chunky for a dancer.
She’s not fat, she has nice curves but I think she’d look better if she had a cleaner diet. Nutrition is more important than exercise for a lean, fit body. She could be a lot more toned.
I dont mean to be rude but my mom is 47 and she has a WAY better body than this! She’s only 25??? Maybe just naturally curvy I guess, I’d be careful tho cause she is prob more likely to gain a lot when she’s older.
I don’t mean to state the obvious, but different people have different bodies.
Some are taller, some are shorter, some have WIDE hips, some have narrow ones, some have cinched in waists, some have straight wide waists.
So your mom looks good. Well, ain’t that effing peachy, What does that have to do with this girl? She can only look in a way that’s in the parameters for her own body composition. She’ll never have narrow skinny thighs, or a small tush, because as you can see, her hips are all bone, with like an ounce of fat on them.
Why don’t you do yourself and everyone else on here a favor. Go back to the Gabourey Sidibe thread and read your comments. You think that skinny women get more grief for being the way they are but in this thread, you are clearly putting down a healthy sized woman. She isn’t even overweight. By the looks of her, she’s the right size for her frame. So how do you think people treat a person who is actually overweight? You just contradicted yourself. Nice going!
Well maybe your mum isn’t as curvy as she is. And how can you tell she’s going to gain weight when she’s older based on this pic?
No one cares about how great your mother looks.
Age is no barrier to having a good body Aims.
Well when you hit puberty you’ll learn that women develop different body shapes. Hopefully you’ll inherit your mommy’s perfect body so you won’t have to worry about enjoying your curves when you’re 25.
Wow, she looks great, IMO. If she can do her job, which is to dance, WTF does it matter if she’s a bit “soft”? As far as I know, she never sold herself as a toned bombshell, did she? So why does she need to be more toned? If she’s healthy, happy, and has a good body fat %, IMO she doesn’t need to be toned.
i respect that people like her body
but i don’t
i’m not going to call her fat because i don;t think she is fat
but i really think the way her fat on her body is porprtioned makes her look like she has enormous saddlebags and a weird belly
that said this body looks like it would belong to some one a lot older….say like 35 or even 40
She is a bell shape (variation of pear) and yeah a lot of ‘older’ women have this figure but sometimes it’s just genetics in the way the fat distibutes. My body is also a bell shape and I’m 28.
I think she looks good even though she has a tad bit of love handles thus like someone else said being a ballroom dancer and doing ballet are totally different most ballerinas if they want to a professional ballet dancer can weigh 135 or 140 so they can weigh 120 or 130 at their point weight because your 10 pounds less also they have to be carried etc. Ballroom is less technical but deff strenuous. Also it doesnt help that her swimsuit isn’t right for her body since she is a pear she should have been wearing a bandeau top or a bikini top with ruffles or fringe so it can balance out her wide hips
She looks great. She might not be your exact taste, and she might not top my wishlist in terms of shape (for my own body, I would wish for a bit more on top – Halle Berry type of body), but I still think she looks fantastic.
She is nowhere near ‘fat’ or ‘soft.’ Some people work out and look like this – work out regularly and a lot and this is what they get. And it looks great! And they are – and should be – proud! If you like a more streamlined and toned body, that is fine for you. You can say that, but don’t put her down, or say something is ‘better’ – just that you like it more personally. Her body type is what it is…maybe the people who look ‘better’ than her that some people have mentioned are rulers or inverted triangles that are more appealing to your taste in shape or lend themselves to being more muscular. I personally would not want those body types for me, but wouldn’t say something else is generally ‘better’ or that they are bad types…or that they need boob jobs to be more ‘curvy’ to fit my taste. I LIKE this more than say Cameron Diaz, but I don’t think it is BETTER. I commend her for the way she takes care of her body, even if I don’t want it.
As someone who does work out hard and eats well, and still isn’t ‘perfect,’ I take offense to reading ‘she needs to tone up’ and things, because who are we to say she hasn’t been trying? I know when I am on the beach in a bikini there might be someone thinking ‘she needs to tone those thighs or flatten that tummy to wear that’ but I have worked hard to get where I am and I look pretty damn good…maybe not ‘perfect’ in some people’s opinion…but I am proud of where I am! And I bet Cheryl is too.
look at pictures 3 and 4. stomach and legs are very photoshopped!! lol
Be careful there, karma might come back and bite you in the behind.
Hello curves!
You know, for an average women she has a decent body, but for being only 25 and a celebrity, I think we just all have higher expectations. She isn’t fat or chubby by ANY means, just very curvy. And she looks like she has a lot of muscle, just softness as well.
Her waist-to-hip ratio is pretty insane.
she is a different kind of pear than me (I got smaller hips and tummy)
but Im still glad she’s here hehe
I think she’s pretty and I like her hair
I am absolutely aghast that people on here think this woman is fat.
Like wow, seriously, I don’t know what to say…
I think she looks beautiful. This is her body, she seems fine with it, and there’s NOTHING wrong with it. I really question how many bones have to protrude, to make some people happy on here–especially the curvy women. It’s odd that they can have bony arms, legs, obvious clavicle and ribs, and thinness in the face, but oh no….they still look heavy and need to work out. Ridiculous, I swear…
lol at pppl saying shes fat must be a bunch of underdeveloped teens. She has hips maybe thats why u think shes fat? I honestly think shes got the right size its right in the middle but leaning more closer to thin.
She is the living proof that sports and workout doesn´t improve a body as much as the media tries to make believe. I know a lot of girls who are chubby, and they´re doing a lot of sports. It´s all about the eating habits.
I think she looks great. She is a good example to women everywhere of a healthy body. She will probably never have sticks for thighs, and that’s great. She could if she was… I don’t know, deserted on an island for a month and didn’t eat at all. Cause that’s healthy and attractive, right?
And if you think she’s fat, you need to schedule an eye exam. She’s a woman, not a ten year old boy, that’s how she’s supposed to look. That’s not to say that naturally thin women are undesireable, it is to say that it’s just not realistic. We cannot change our genetic makeup to switch body types, but instead should all just enjoy our very different body types. We should all just enjoy our lives, our food, and be happy, like Cheryl obviously does.
she has an AMAZING body.. this is exactly how my body is and trust me for all you people who think shes fat ask any guy they would love to have a girl to have these curves.
She is beautiful, but, she looks much older than 25 yrs old.
she needs to tone up her body
She has a good waist to hip ratio, which is always what matters when it comes to looking feminine.
She has a healthy amount of body fat. If a doctor assessed her weight, taking into account all of the crucial factors like frame size, muscle mass, body shape, bone density, body fat percentage, height ect, i’m certain the health professional would declare that this woman is very healthy.
People often confuse fitness and health. Fitness is a person’s capability to carry out physical exertion and sports. Being healthy includes having a certain, optimum, amount of fitness. But being super fit, like an athlete, is actually not healthy! In fact, female athletes often experience fertility problems and amenhorrea (periods stop) because they maintain almost no body fat and a high muscle mass.
This isn’t what nature intended for females, because our fertility hormones are stored in body fat, and when you don’t have enough body fat, the hypothalamus (part of the brain, whose functions include producing reproductive hormones; the hypothalamus controls the pituitary gland) switches off, so the pituitary gland stops sending hormones to the ovaries to ovulate (release an egg). Females also need body fat to nourish a baby, because body fat stores important nutrients…. That’s why a malnourished woman with no body fat can give birth to a baby with defects.
This lady is wonderful.
I have a figure just like this, and seeing all these comments about how great she looks has given my confidence a huge boost <3
