Sofia Vergara Gets Sexy for Esquire and Bashes ‘Freaky’ Surgeries

Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara (38) is in Esquire this month, looking pretty in lingerie and posing as a sexy housewife. Besides looking good for the cameras, Sofia wants to share a thought with you:
“The women all look the same now. That thing with the cheeks. Like Madonna. Who do they think they’re fooling? It doesn’t make them look young. You end up looking like a freak.”

This shoot is so fun and cute! I’m inspired to dress like this at home, not be embarrassed by my dd’s and to wish I were brunette. It’s so much more sultry.
You don’t have to wish to be a brunette, that’s why they make hair dye ;D
But if she’s not naturally a brunette, it will probably look awful.
A hairstylist can tell her how dark she can go without looking like a freak.
Sofia Vergara is actually blonde and they made her go brunette for roles in the US because it’s too weird for us Americans to see someone with a Colombian accent with blonde hair.
Um, that reasoning is just plain dumb. Americans had no problem accepting Shakira with blond hair. I’m guessing she went brunette because the sultry brunette is popular than blonde bombshell these days.

Yeah she said she was naturally blonde in an interview and so I did some research and found pictures. Nottt a good look for her.
She also said that thing about it being weird for us to see a Colombian with blonde hair. I think it just worked better for the show, and it made her like 10x hotter. I think she’s gorgeous.
I have tried to go brunette but we didn’t go very dark and it still looked unnatural on me. Too bad, I think dark hair is so pretty.

Amen. She’s got a point about the freaky surgery, but she’s had her own surgery…people need to do what makes them feel happy. Aaaaand….they photoshopped the hell out of her butt and legs.
I wouldn’t put a name like Madonna in my statement, I think Madonna is an amazing woman!! But she is kind of right about these plastic surgeries, they do not look good. But also is a statement coming form someone who is also getting a little help from surgery tables, her tummy really looks like it had a lipo!!

No, I have never seen her in person, only in candids. It’s not like I loved what I saw, but what matters here is not what I think about her looks.
What I was trying to say is that “freak” is a highly offensive word to describe someone, which I think cannot be nice. I mean, was it really necessary to mention Madonna, specifically, and in such a rude way? She could well have expressed her dislike for plastic surgeries without that one.

Madonna’s cheeks DO look freaky….especially in pics of her without makeup. I think it probably wasn’t best to say that in her statement though. Sofia is beautiful and I hope she stays true to her word.
Maybe she hasn’t had “freaky” plastic surgery like some other people, but who is she fooling in that photoshoot? The light angle in that beach picture is unflattering and highlights her cellulite, but no way are her legs/body that impossibly smooth in the Esquire photos.
First off, if Madonna wants to get her cheeks done, its her business. It really is not a good idea to insult your fellow Hollywood startlet who is much more famous and successful than you. Next time she wants to make comments like that, I suggest she do it behind closed doors with her friends and family and not a magazine issue, unless she wants to be the Megan Fox in the whole Transformers drama and get fired by her more renowned producers.
Second of all, she is honestly on my “plastic surgery watch.” I cannot imagine her aging naturally into her 60′s.
Third, I don’t see her as someone who would worry so much about how her face looks unlike other people, since most people never make it to her face thanks to her oversized breasts. Not her fault, but she could have a little perspective that not everyone has balloons to distract others from their flaws.
EVERY picture in a magazine is photoshopped!! So I don’t see what her being photoshoped has to do with throwing shade on plastic surgery. Yes, a lot of people are going a little too overboard with the plastic surgery mess. I personally would not have come after maddonna. At least she waited until she was aging to get some unlike other folks like KK and Megan Fox. Madonna is like the wrong name to have used. At least she is super talented and did not get plastic surgery to get attention or booster her career.

although if take the message rather than the words she has chosen to express herself, all she is saying is aging naturally is better, which is what they all say more or less, even if they are saying it through plastic plumped lips! so not original just a little meanly put.
