Did not know that! But in a way, it was very fitting for their characters… especially Emily’s, I remember a scene where she said she was only eating a cube of cheese a day for a whole week or something.
she already does!! jk. She is extremely pretty naturally. I hate the photoshop jobs where girls look even skinnier when they were too skinny to start with. Creates such a distorted image of women’s bodies.

I LOVE her! She’s very pretty IMO. And she was extremely funny in “The devil wears Prada” and “Sunshine cleaning”! And I like how she is really down to earth. She seems like she’s taking good care of herself without overdoing anything.
she was so good in both those roles, she really is one of the better actresses of her generation (and I don’t think she gets enough attention for her acting skills).

they’re similar in the fact that they both seem very down to earth and that they’re pretty but in an unusual way
She is really pretty, unlike some of the overhyped celebrities we have in England, like Cheryl Cole, who are ordinary without make up. (I know Emily is wearing make up, but you can tell that she has naturally good features.)
Geez can anyone ever say they don’t like something or don’t want to look a certain way without disparaging it?
There are plenty of people that look like Barbie. I always thought Candice Swanepoel was a Barbie replica. And that’s not exactly an insult, since Barbie is supposed to be really pretty.
If Emily doesn’t want to look like that, that’s fine. And I agree sometimes photoshoppers go overboard and make the person just proportionally unrealistic and impossible. But the comment just sounds fake to me…it’s something you say without any meaning.

She has big blue eyes, big lips, same facial bone structure, blonde hair, super short torso and super long legs, a tiny waist…etc.
She does have small breasts, but, if they were ever to do a Barbie real life movie, I can’t think of anyone better suited for the role.
But regardless, that’s not my point. My point is, some people do look like Barbie.
When Emily says that she doesn’t want to look like a Barbie, I am pretty sure she means she doesn’t want her pictures to look unreal, because a Barbie doll proportions is totally un-human.

I love Emily Blunt and I think she is an underrated actress. Actresses with less talent like Ashley Greene and Megan Fox get way more attention than her!

Well, there are some girls who are “all long and skinny” and barbie-ish-looking out there.
Not that this alone would ever make anyone prettier than lovely Emily there, though. =)
She’s not exactly short and pudgy herself…. maybe cuz she’s not a blonde. Whatever, have no idea who she is and dont really care.

But I think there’s a difference there in playing a character who’s basically a fashion-nazi and being herself in her daily life. She’s talking about photoshop anyway, not dieting she said ‘I don’t like where they stretch you out’….that can’t happen in real life (all my hopes of height are crushed LOL)
