Skinny VS Curvy

Earlier this week, comedian Joy Behar commented on The View that Jessica Simpson gained too much weight during pregnancy, calling her ‘fat’. Tori Spelling (who got pregnant with her forth child a month after giving birth) jumped to defend pregnant Jessica:

“When women are pregnant, people need to lay off. It’s a really special time and you should be able to deal with it in your own terms. You just have to wear it proud and go with it. Every body is different. As far is weight, you never know what is going to happen. You can’t control what angle people are snapping your photo from.”

… said Tori.

A few days ago, we listened to skinny girl Tori Spelling explaining to us that she does not have anorexia, but is super thin because of… the swine flu. Tori felt the need to explain the situation again and said…

“I’ve never had a great stomach, but (being ill) just completely tore up my stomach and broke down my immune system, and I’ve basically just been a mess ever since, stomach-wise,” she says. “It’s about rebuilding my immune system.”

“I’m a role model for a lot of women out there, so I hate that they say these things unwarranted, without any research and facts. I think it’s doing a disservice to women out there that look up to any celebrity.”

The 37-year-old mother-of-two blames her pin-thin frame on a recent bout of swine flu, saying she went through three rounds of antibiotics that left her weak and frail.

‘I was sick for months and had a hard time eating, so I was losing weight,’ she told America’s People magazine. ‘I did look too thin. I went from doctor to doctor trying to find answers.’

Spelling, who is 5ft 6in, plummeted to a dangerous 6st 9lb at her lowest.

She now weighs in at 7st 2lb and insists she is aiming to reach 8st 2lb.

‘Seeing those bones I was scared,’ she told the publication. ‘I did look too thin.’
She denies allegations that she was starving herself, saying: ‘I’m not anorexic, I don’t have an eating disorder.

‘But when everyone’s like, ‘What’s the reason, then?’ I didn’t want to say I had swine flu. I was too embarrassed.’
