Colombian pop star Shakira has laughed off reports that she recently went under the knife for a nose job.

The singer sparked surgery rumours after admitting that she visited a surgeon because she was unhappy with the size of her nose.

‘So many things going on in the world and yet some invent stories about me getting a nose job! Why would a she wolf (apparently the title of her new album) want a smaller nose?’ she posted on her Twitter.com homepage.

This is not the first time Shakira has talked about plastic surgery – here’s what she said a while back:

“A few years ago, I considered (plastic) surgery, breast augmentation, and all kinds of things. Maybe my eyebrows should be higher. Maybe my lips should be bigger. It was really making me bitter. I’d think I’m not going to look good for my fans! But eventually I said, “forget it” and I started accepting myself the way I am and realized that I’m just not perfect.”

OK, I’ll tell you what I think. I don’t know about the nose job, but she changed her hairstyle, make-up, eye-brows and lost some weight and these all changed her face.

However, I think that her nose is quite photoshopped in magazine spreads and on album covers (it’s shorter and narrower) and this might be the reason why the rumors started in the first place. Here’s an example:

A few days ago, we were all admiring (or not) Eva’s makeover and airbrushed figure on the cover of Citizen K Magazine. Click here to take a look at the post!

Since then, lots of other pictures have surfaced – this bunch includes a nipple slip (didn’t see that one coming from Eva), the mandatory outfit in celebrity world also known as “pantless”, some weird poses and expressions and the same liquified and long-ified figure.

The body: Nice figure! However, it’s so not Eva’s.

Again, completely removing the shadows from one’s body will not make them look more attractive, just more… mannequin-esque.

The makeover(under): What’s up with this hairstyle and make-up? Why so hot all of a sudden? Proof:

These old shots of Kelly are weird. First, Kelly is MUCH prettier in reality. Secondly, we’re looking at a baaaad, baaad case of Photoshop – The signs:

1. Check out the black door behind Kelly in picture number 1: those thighs have been liguified and since the job was done completely unprofessionally, they basically deformed the squares on the door right in the thigh area. Ridiculous.

2. Check out how flat her hips look in pic 2 – again, the door is deformed. Oh yes, and Kelly’s hips are anything but flat.

3. One of the reasons why Kelly’s face looks 100 times worse here than in reality is the fact that they completely removed its natural shadows , especially the ones under the eyes.

And I’m wondering how some of these pics were meant to sell clothes / lingerie, when there are flowers instead of garments?

Mel B just revealed her Ultimo Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign and my oh my, is she photoshopped in the ads.

Liquified areas: Thighs, arms, hips, legs and even the face!

She looks WAY worse in the ads than she does in reality, like, really.

Above: left, Mel is the owner of protruding hip bones and tiny thighs in this lingerie campaign and on the right, Mel’s got awesome muscle definition and curves a few months ago on stage.
