Jessica Simpson, who confirmed that she is going to be a mom today via Twitter, is the covergirl of Lucky Magazine – and with this occasion, she also brings by a little weight-related quote:

On weight criticism last year:

“All kinds of women started coming up to me and saying what an example I was setting by not constantly dieting. Everybody fluctuates, but I’m open about my weight and I’m still confident. I didn’t cry about it too much.”

Even though there’s no confirmation yet, just loads of speculation, Jessica Simpson is definitely looking pregnant in a new set of pictures  - here she is yesterday at LAX, wearing a tight black top over a very round low tummy.

Jessica Simpson has been in the media eye these weeks – the reason? A possible pregnancy, based on the fact that Jessica has been wearing loose tops (and on occasion, big bags in front of them) and she has gained a little weight.

Lots of blind items are flying around, too – From Blind Gossip:

This female star has certainly had her ups and downs. Her career has gone up and down and has expanded over more than one creative medium. She has dated at least three or four famous guys, has been married to and divorced from another celebrity, and is a tabloid staple. Depending on who you talk to and which day it is, she is either gorgeous or ugly. Well, we know one thing for sure: she is pregnant! She is seven weeks along, and you should expect the announcement within the next couple of weeks. She could wait longer, but she wants to avoid the criticisms about her fluctuating weight. She thinks it will be good for people to know that she “has a baby on board, rather than a burrito on board.” Both she and her partner are very happy about the pregnancy. Oh, and they will be getting married, although the wedding will now happen after the baby is born.

“I have a wedding date — I’m really excited! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight — and lift some weights and do what I can! I just have to work out on my own. There is no regimen I need to follow. There’s no diet I need to follow. I just need to do some things for myself and that’s it. And that will make me feel the happiest. But I’m still trying to figure out what to wear! I don’t know if I want the big boom, or the curvy thing, but it will be something beautiful.”
