Jessica Simpson, who will give birth next spring, has been tweeting a lot these days about her current favorite foods – let’s see what she’s been eating:

“Kraft mac and cheese with Lawry’s seasoning salt is the breakfast of pregnant champions!!!”

“This week it’s peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, toasted. And then, I’ll put some salt on my hand like I’m taking a tequila shot and then take a bite of the sandwich.”

“I’ll cry at the drop of a hat. That’s the one thing about pregnancy. Even a great souffle would make me cry. I felt the baby move the other day for the first time and I had big crocodile tears.”

Pretty mom-to-be Jessica Simpson (31) was all glowing in a maroon dress at the 25th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards in New York City on Tuesday… but it seems that Jessica has a different explanation for the famous ‘pregnancy glow’:

“Pregnancy was meant for me – it really was. I can’t wait to have more kids. I love being pregnant. I have such an incredible connection with myself and with my body that I’ve never had before. People always say that pregnant women have a glow. And I say it’s because you’re sweating to death. I think they just tell pregnant women they’re glowing to make them feel good about themselves, because everything makes them a little bit emotional.”

Cravings: She says she no longer likes pizza because it now “tastes sour” – has become obsessed with a particular fruit. “I crave cantaloupe like a crazy person,” Simpson told PEOPLE on Tuesday while promoting a skincare line. “But I put salt all over it, so I don’t know if it’s that healthy. I crave anything salty and sweet. That mixture to me is so good. I can eat a whole cantaloupe in one morning.”
