Helen Mirren is the new image of Nintentdo’s new Wii Fit Plus work-out festive campaign! The 65 year-old actress says that Wii helps her keep in shape:

‘The Wii is fun, and it’s infinitely varied. You can hula, jog, yoga, step, all in one session.  You need never get bored as every day you can tailor a new workout.

‘It challenges you, and you do it at home, so nobody need see you in those old yoga pants and torn T-shirt. It’s my new best friend.’

65 year-old Helen Mirren, who recently posed naked, has a bit of something to share:

‘Bits of my body are all right, but bits of me are horrible. To be honest, anything from the waist down I don’t really like.’

Helen also reveals some of her ‘how to look slimmer’ tips:

‘Four-inch platforms give you great height and make your legs look unbelievably long. I used only to be able to get them in stripper shops, but now you can buy them everywhere – although, unfortunately, that means everyone else has discovered the trick too.’

‘Holding your tummy in is another trick for making you look and feel good. I don’t know why, but I do, by nature, hold my tummy in.’

“I happened to be holding my stomach in because my husband was taking my photograph. Three weeks every six months, I decide to work out. I’m unbelievably lazy. If I had any form of self-discipline, I would look a lot better than I do.”
