Kara Dioguardi Had a Binge Eating Disorder

Kara Dioguardi Had a Binge Eating Disorder | general

“I’ve never spoken about this. I had kind of a binge eating disorder where, instead of dealing with my emotions, I would stuff them down with food,” the American Idol judge tells Extra.

“I never threw up or starved myself,” continues DioGuardi. “It was an eating disorder. I actually went into a treatment center for it…I would get up and eat in the middle of the night.”

DioGuardi blames her food problems on insecurity while growing up.

“I really was a creative kid who didn’t know she was creative and didn’t have those outlets because I was always afraid to join the theater group and not perform,” she says.

After she moved out to L.A. to become a songwriter, she became healthier.

“The moment I started doing music, the moment I did what I loved to do in my life and committed to it, I didn’t have those problems anymore,” she says. “I have my outlet. I have that form of expression. I can go to the studio and talk about my feelings.”

Kathy Griffin Shows Her Bikini Body at 48 | general

What? Am I seeing right?

Yes, I think I am.

Big News, Everyone: They didn’t go overboard with the photoshopping on this one! And by that, I mean that she looks like herself – isn’t it slightly ridiculous that I’m thrilled to see a woman that looks… not plastic for once?

The interview that accompanies the pictures is fun! Here’s what she says:

“I’ve become insufferable, tormenting my friends, saying, ‘Do you know I have a banging bikini bod?’ That should be my new name: Banging Bikini Bod Griffin,” she jokes to OK!.

She recently showed off her slim figure during an outing with Paris Hilton (see after the jump!). “A lot more guys were looking at me than Paris,” says Kathy, who, at 5 feet, 3 inches, weighs a svelte 118 pounds. “Granted, they were gay, but they were checking out my hot ass!”

Don’t stare too hard though, fellas – Kathy says she’s not just another pretty face.

“I am more than a golden, tanned sexpot. I am a woman, damn it, with thoughts and feelings!” she tells OK!.

The reality star also claims her curves are au natural, telling OK! she hasn’t had any work done recently.

“Not since 2003 when I had a face-lift,” she explains. “My breasts are very real and very floppy. Why have surgery when you could just get a good freaking bra?”

There’s more!

P.S.: Forgot to mention: she looks great!

Star Jones Opens Up About Weight Loss

Star Jones Opens Up About Weight Loss | general

“I’m still 300 lbs. in my head some days,” the lawyer and TV personality, 47, tells Oprah Winfrey on Wednesday’s Oprah.

Pressed by Winfrey about what scared her, Jones responds, “Disappointing people. I was ashamed … That’s the word that is actually the real word. I was ashamed that I couldn’t control my weight, that I was an addict for all practical purposes, that I had never stuck to a real diet, that I’d never stuck to a real exercise program.”

Jones says she was confronted by her own doctor and told, “If you don’t make changes, you will die.” Her reaction? “I had no choice,” she admits. “When you hear people say, ‘Oh, you took the easy way out,’ I would have longed for an easy way. It was not an easy way.”

She calls gastric-bypass surgery “the hardest struggle of my whole entire life, and I still struggle.”

She says, “I’m so sorry that I placed a burden on my colleagues. I never asked them to lie and don’t know where the Pilates and portion control” – an explanation for her dramatic weight-loss that circulated at the time – “came from. I think a tabloid actually wrote that.”
