May 23, 2008 in Curvy Scale, Scarlett Johansson by Versus

There are some celebrities that definitely belong on the curvy scale and Scarlett sure is one of them. I mean, she belongs on the curvy scale like Victoria Beckham belongs on the Skinny Scale. If there are still some of you out there that are about to say: “Curvy? curvy is Beth Ditto!”, then please read our definition of the terms!

May 18, 2008 in America Ferrera, Curvy Scale by Versus

Here is America Ferrera showing us some upper curves. You can blame the puffy dress for not revealing the lower ones – but you can be sure that she’s got them. Now here is the question for you: how would you rate America’s curviness on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 stands for “no curves in sight” and 10 is “maximum curves in sight”? It’s Curvy Scale time! Rate America Ferrera!
Versus’s expert verdict: America is a 7. Moderate curves in the right spots, plus some extra softness all around for a feminine look. Read the rest of this entry →

May 9, 2008 in Beyonce, Curvy Scale by Versus

Even though this picture doesn’t do Beyonce’s curves justice, you all know how voluptuous she is and how she fills those mermaid dresses (and sometimes bursts out of them) on the red carpet, right? So yes, she is definitely one of the best ones to compete on the Curvy Scale! OK, I can’t help myself: yes, this is still about curves, not clothes, but a tiny, tiny tip: throw the shiny stockings. Better yet, burn them.
So, say what you have to say! It’s Curvy Scale Time! Rate Beyonce on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 stands for “Curvy Scale? I’d say Skinny Scale!” and 10 is “Danger zone: curves about to explode.”
Versus’s expert verdict: I’d give her an 8 when she’s at a higher weight and a 7 when she is at a lower weight. Or an 8 in a tight dress and a 7 in a loose one.

May 1, 2008 in Alicia Keys, Curvy Scale by Versus

Alicia Keys has got, besides an un-debatable sack of talent, some true curves that we can intuit through the fitting jeans. Now these surely are discussable, so let’s debate upon them!
What do you all think? How would you rate Alicia’s curviness on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 represents “you call these sticks thighs?” and 10 stands for “booty is an understatement. more like booooty”.
Versus’s expert rating: Can I use the arithmetical average formula? Ok then, 5 for the upper half and umm, 9 for the bottom half. 5, 899, right? No? Really? How do you calculate it? Hey, I’m a celebrity body expert, ok?

April 16, 2008 in Celebrity Weight & Measurements, Curvy Scale, Katherine Heigl by Versus

Katherine Heigl is not a skinny girl, and hooray, cause the second last thing Hollywood needs after “tanned blonds with generic looks” is yet another skinny celeb. And since she is probably 10 lbs over the “skinny prototype highest limit”, aka 120 lbs and most likely fills more than a full B cup, plus she’s got, as seen above, a noticeable rear, she classifies in the curvy sector.
So, what do you think? How would you rate her on the Curvy Scale? Ratings start from 1 and top with 10, where 1 is “flat glass rather than hourglass” and 10 is “plump & round hourglass reinvented”
Versus’s expert verdict: Katherine is a 6. Thin enough to be skinny-lovers’ secret daydream and plump enough to be on curvy-lovers’ “who I’d like to marry” list.
