Since many of you doubted the fact that 60 year-old actress Kirstie Alley lost enough weight to fit into a size 8 (like she said a while ago), I thought that you’d find this size and calorie-related story interesting – from EW.com:

The actress admitted to consuming only 1,400 calories, but has decided to take Chmerkovskiy’s advice by upping it to 2,000. “He’s probably right. Usually what I do to lose weight, I eat 1,400 calories, but I guess if I’m working out five or seven hours then you have to change it around a little bit,” said Alley, who wouldn’t reveal how many pounds she has lost since being on DWTS. She did say she is down to size 4 and 6 dresses but joked ”they’re sort of stretchy.”

Khloe Kardashian is the latest celebrity to reveal the number on her clothes:

“I always get comments on my weight,” says Khloe. “[People want] me to be a [certain] size. I am a size six, and in the normal world, that is not fat—but to Hollywood, sometimes being a six is way too big. But when the world literally gets on you every single day and tells you, ‘You’re fat, you’re fat, you’re fat,’ eventually you are going to break and agree.”

“The reason why I blew up was because my mom told me that I am too fat and that I am ruining what we all worked for. We have a brand, QuickTrim and this and that—and that I am ruining all of the that single-handedly. To have that pressure and to have someone tell you that, I snap and I break down and I cry.

Since many of you enjoy estimating the weight of our dear celebrities, here’s a little story: National Enquirer says that 60 year-old actress Kirstie Alley is 175 pounds. Kirstie has definitely lost weight in the past year, but what do you think of their estimation?

“She’s lost a lot of weight since rehearsals started in March and she now weighs 175 pounds (at 5’7”), but she’s still uncomfortable about her appearance”.

Translation: 170 cm and 80 kg.
