Skinny VS Curvy

I know that Jordin doesn’t have the ideal curvy body, but we need all the resources in order to balance the situation here – cause you’ve got to agree, “skinny” is much more popular than “curvy” in Hollywood.

Even if you might call Jordin “chubby” (I’d call her “healthy” though), you’ll have to agree that she is making the most of her size 12 figure on this occasion. In fact, her dress resembles quite a lot Alicia’s dress in the previous post and basically follows the same “tricks”: long enough to camouflage thicker thighs, marking the waist and the upper body and hiding the hips and thighs under a smart and fashionable design.

P.S. Blue nail polish is on so many toes these days.

Alicia makes from time to time some clothing choices that are pretty original. In these cases, the shoes on the right pop in sight, as well as the funky application on the dress in the right pic. As seen above, Alicia usually dresses for her body type, which, in her case, means accentuating the small waist with the cut of the clothes and not opting for tight dresses that might emphazise her bottom heavy shape.

Kylie Minogue is fun to watch from a fashion point of view – she always seems to experiment and sometimes opts for bold outfits in vivid colors, different styles and original combinations. Above, she chose non-colors instead, but the outfits sure stand out in their own way, with the help of silver/golden accessories.

On the left, you’ve got Kylie in a short black dress and on the right, you’ve got her in a long white one – pretty opposite choices right there. On top, she opted for flats on the left and for high platform shoes on the right. Which outfit is your favorite and which one looks best on Kylie’s petite figure?

No, I will not even mention the boots. They are pretty.

Not so many updates on Britney’s body these days, except the fact that it seems to favor bright blue and manages to stay a healthy, yet bigger-than-Hollywood’s-ideal weight.

And since we can’t stress it out enough, have to say again that Brit could look so much more admirable and desirable if, for once, she dressed for her body type – in this case, avoid cutting her legs twice, once with the jeans and once with the pretty boots (see? I mean it).

OK, I am split in two:

On one hand, love the look. The unexpected bob hairstyle, the classy little black dress with a twist (as in the puffy sleeves), the sleek appearance, the great legs, the shiny hair & shiny dress combo.

On the other hand, I dislike the look. The disproportionate, unbalanced effect that the massive shoulders of the dress visually create on Anne’s skinny body with very narrow hips. I bet the dress would have created an optically perfect result on a pear body shape.
