On her new style:

“In the beginning [of my pregnancy] I was thinking, I’m going to wear really loose things, because you don’t really look pregnant at first — you just feel a little bigger than your normal self. And now that you start to show I think it’s better to wear tighter things, but it’s kind of a challenge to find things!”

On what she’s eating:

“I want spicy food all day, every day. My husband was joking the other day, ‘Did you put any eggs in your hot sauce?’ There’s just tons of hot sauce everywhere!”

On dressing for her body shape:

Picking the right dress for her body: “The comfort factor is all about the dress for me. I’m lucky to go in and out at the right places, proportionately that’s something I inherited from my mother. I enjoy my shape and my curves. At the same time, you have to know how to dress. If you are hippy, then pleats off the waist? Forget it! You absolutely cannot wear them. It’s about knowing how to work with the right fabric.”

“In my 20s, I would have on a mini-skirt and the boobs. Now, if I’m doing something short, I try to cover up [on top]. I’m almost 40, so I had to evolve – it’s natural. I love tight dresses. But I don’t do now tight and short. I do tight and long. I spend a lot of money on shoes and bags. But I wear things I have found all over the world that don’t have to be expensive. I like to dress up.” She also says that she thinks she’s past the age where she could pull off jean shorts: “My son’s friends and girlfriends are wearing them. I don’t feel it’s right.”
