I WISH that was my problem! Ugh. She works with what she’s got though, so you gotta admire that. But her face is starting to look so haggard, far beyond her years. Does she smoke?
i really think she doesn’t but ur right about her face looking older than it really is. but she’s still really pretty. and good for her for not going the plastic route!!
Maybe she doesn’t wear sunblock, or didn’t wear it was she was younger. Since she has a very fair skin, it could be the reason of her looking older.
I think she looks her age. Maybe we’re so used to seeing celebrities who’ve done everything conceivable to fight aging that we forget what an actual 38 year old woman looks like.
Well, her quote makes me think she has the type of body that will get skinny and flabby ie skinny fat if not exercised. She always looks good to me, though!
My body oddly enough, works that same way Cameron’s does–I exercise to keep muscle and tone on my body, otherwise I look too skinny.
Remember Cameron in her pre-Mask/circa that period model photographs? She was whippet thin and at that point admitted that she barely worked out. Just a speculation on my part! I realize that metabolic rates do change as people age.

I wish it was like breathing to me! Exercising means I can barely breathe lol. She’s got the athletic body and the mindset to go with it

I too am thin; naturally thin. Unfortunatly, being naturally thin =/= being toned or fit. Plus I like to be a few pounds heavier than where I fall naturally. Takes a lot of work, have to work out and make sure to get enough protein every day, but, I like my body as a result.
I’m the total opposite. I’m naturally muscular and curvy. If I let myself go, I start looking really butch. My exercise routine is all cardio, walking and running.
Just goes to show — no matter your body type, you have to work at it. Sedentary doesn’t look good on anybody, thick or thin.

well, i agree with her. I have exercised consistently since high school. I was a HS and college athelete, and have continued to exercise almost every day to this day (and I am 33 years old now). I guess that’s why don’t really understand weight flactuations, because I have been the exact same size since I was 15 years old.

so what? just because we’re not celebrities we’re not allowed to say that we too exercize on regular basis? admitting that we work out and are fit instead of sitting around eating cake is not a crime. get over it.
by your logic Cameron Diaz is showing off as well, as are you…showing off how “cool” you are. I’m super impressed. Hate to break it to you, but exercise for me is part of my life that I can never do away with because I love it, and yes, I am proud of that because I worked very hard for my athleticism. Sorry that bugs you. I hope you have some things about yourself that make you proud, it feels good and makes you less likely to try to put other people down.
I feel the same way about exercising, but for different reasons. Working out is my alone time, my therapy, my hobby, and makes me feel amazing and healthy during and after. Unlike Carmen, I wouldn’t be really skinny, just kinda flabby in unattractive areas without my workouts.
I would really be 10 pounds heavier if I didn’t workout every day and watch what I eat!!
