Britney Is Upset Over “Bulky Spears!” and “Jelly Belly” Comments

You might have heard that the Daily Mail had something to say about Britney’s figure a few days ago – and the words weren’t exactly flattering. Here’s what they commented about Britney’s pictures from her Circus tour:

Perhaps Britney Spears was exploring different sides of her personality at her comeback show. Then again, she may have just been trying to find the right costume to flatter what is a rather fuller figure these days.
Now, Digital Spy reports that Britney is (understandably) upset about the comments:
Britney Spears is reportedly struggling to deal with criticism about her weight.
The singer is said to be ‘devastated’ by comments made during her ‘Circus’ world tour, dubbing her “Bulky Spears” and “jelly belly”, according to Heat.“Britney has been upset by some of the negative feedback she’s been getting,” a source said. “She’s worked so hard on her figure and her fitness.
“She thought she was an unstoppable force, but now it’s dawning on her that she’s not as revered as she once was, which is causing her upset.
“She feels she’s put a heck of a lot of effort into the tour. It’s devastating for her to hear the criticisms. We just hope she doesn’t take it too much to heart.”
The star has allegedly started drinking specially-sourced shakes which include the African tree bark hoodia, thought to help with weight loss.

SHE NEEDS TO STAY HOME…. Seriously, we don’t want to see that all the time! Especially that it is the same Britney coming back everytime over the years! When is she going to change? She is so trashy… and irresponsible!
I agree with the “tacky outfit” part, but that is just about it. Although she has gained weight and also worn clothes that do not look good on her, she is also choosing to wear those types of clothes. Provocative and not right for her body type. She did have children, and that should be enough to say she shouldn’t wear those clothes. Same for Madonna, and especially… old, saggy, and just too weird (meaning Madonna, not Britney). ’nuff said.
I think her body is fine, it’s the clothes that suck.
She looks great, sure she doesnt look like she did when she was 18 but who does. She has had 2 kids and she’s come a long way. No wonder she’s such a basket case, people just wont give her a break.
if she wants a break, she should wear adequate clothing!

Susan I agree with you. We should just give her a break. Take a look at her last year and now and the difference is amazing! She is healthier in her head and body. She worked hard for that and all we do is criticize her! Shame on the Daily Mail and everyone who thinks Britney could do better. She looks great and she’s in a happy place right now, leave her alone.
