On this occasion, I’m really not a fan of the first outfit, but she’s pulling off the police-girl look quite well.

she’s trying hard. but even lady gaga would have difficulties to pull those outfits. her body is fine, but not as extraordinarily defined as the costumes require.
The funny thing is I said the same thing in an earlier post and I was told to leave her alone. If she was a “normal” woman, then yes, I would say her body looks great. But since she is a celebrity that became famous for her body/looks/selling the sexy look, I think either she should tone up more or wear much more flattering looks.

I agree. If you are going to be in the public eye prancing about in tiny outfits, you either better be fit as hell, or ready to hear the critiques.
Why should she get harsh criticism at all? She looks fine, she shouldn’t need to be extremely toned to be seen as fine just because she’s in the public eye. With some of those poses, I think even a super toned woman would look less toned, she’s not engaging her abs in all of them and that would make anyone look less than “perfect”.

Because it is her job/she gets paid to look good. Once again, if your career is based on “looks” then you better look good. If your career is actually based on singing/acting abilities then no one will notice or care if you are less than super toned. But Spears is in “pop” music where looks are as important as sound (see Madonna, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera, etc).
And she does look good, so again, why should she get harsh criticism?
Because she doesn’t look GREAT.

But I look good too and have a substantially mediocre singing voice too.
Do I get paid an ungodly amount of money?
No.
If I made that kind of income I’d hire the best nutritionists and trainers to make me look really effin great, not good, because that would be my, you know…..job.

She’s working on it, jeez. She’s been training like crazy, and I’m sure she will get even slimmer as her tour progresses.
Would you want her to crash diet/use drugs/get lipo? Cause unless you “cheat” these ways like most celebs do, there’s only so much you can do.

the police girl outfit looks cute from the front.
She doesn’t look as slim/toned as she did in those promo photos that were released showing her training. I love Brit though, and think she looks great. The Daily Mail ran these pictures yesterday with the headline “Bulky Spears: Is Britney bigger than ever?”… which I think is a damn shame. No wonder the world is obessed with thin if a curvy, healthy girl like Britney is criticised. They would probably think my size 12 figure is positively obese!
Amen to that. It hurts my feelings when i see stuff like that, its like DAMN what am I morbidly obese?

The policewoman outfit is my fave! I now realise her body shape is a Brick (another T&S-discovered shape).
well i think she looks great. and she certainly once had a body that most of us could only dream of. she’s worked hard to get this far and i think its good shes eating well. she needs energy to put on these shows.

I agree that she should look better, and I’m surprised that she doesn’t, to be perfectly honest. My body looks better than that (in my opinion, but others could disagree), and I currently don’t work out at all. In other words, I am an average woman.
When she first became famous, I didn’t consider her to be a huge talent in terms of singing skill and creativity/artistry, but she was selling the whole package.
Regarding her looks, several people here have said that it is great that she looks like an average woman, and that she doesn’t create an unobtainable ideal. Well, I think there is definitely something to be said for that, but frankly, I don’t want to see the average woman prancing around in those outfits.
WOW, no wonder “average women” feel like *beep* when it comes to their bodies. What’s wrong with her body, exactly, that makes it so horrifying for her to be seen like this?
I think you may have misread my comment. I have a pretty average body myself, and I really would not want to be the center of a stage show wearing underwear or less. I don’t feel horrible about myself, and I think my body is pretty decent. I would also consider Britney to have a pretty good body if she was just an average girl I saw on the street.
The point is, she is an entertainer and her looks/body were a huge force in driving her popularity in the earlier years of her career. I am surprised that her body is not better b/c she must have to train and practice a fair amount for her stage shows. I would have thought she would lose more weight or be more toned with all that work. She also definitely has the money for a nutritionist or a personal chef.
The point is, she is not an average person and part of her job is to look great. If her looking great makes me feel worse about myself, then that is my personal problem.
I would not want to see her looking overly thin, especially b/c that is obviously not her natural body type. I just think she should either tone up or not wear outfits consisting of underwear and see-through mesh on stage.
It’s just a waste of time to argue with “Anonymous” because evidently we are not allowed to criticize Britney in any of the posts about her.
I didn’t say you weren’t allowed to criticize, I just don’t get why people have to be so harsh(and downright insulting in some cases) about it, considering she is in decent shape, she’s not some flabby immobile couch potato. Yes, she’s not as toned as she was a few years ago, but does that really justify being harsh and insulting towards her, or any woman that is built similar to her?
And it’s funny that you say “in any post about her”, because this, and the one before it(that I believe are from the same performance? or at least just a couple of days apart?) are really the only posts about Brit that I’ve gotten into a discussion in.
But hay, if you can be harsh and insulting, I can counter it.

Britney is the Pamela Anderson of her generation….PAST HER PRIME. She is selling her cheap and crazy self, and no one (with any taste) is buying!

i don’t like her and i don’t like her new album….i was ok with her comeback ’cause i felt pitty for her….but this is too much ….they all started giving her awards and shit for her great comeback….but it’s not that great….she is still kinda fat…she makes bad clothing choices….and she can’t sing….so….i rest my case…
She looks gross in picture number three, I don’t think she is gross though it’s just that outfit isn’t working for her. She makes a hot policewoman but I don’t think any of the otehr outfits worked for her.
OK, not great but the kind of outfits are not designed for close-up inspection.

IMO, the only pictures she looks “bad” in are the 3rd(sitting at the pole) and 5th(pink/black bra), but I think that’s mostly because of her poses and not because she’s in bad physical shape or anything.
