What started as a raging argument in the Billboard offices turned into a heated debate among you, dear readers. When we asked you who you thought were the sexiest people in music, you voted by the hundreds of thousands.

First I kinda thought “ick she’s a kid” on Miley Cyrus, but then I realise she’s not really that young compared to how old Britney, Christina etc were when they started out. I’m glad to see GaGa on the list, she’s not the most traditionally beautiful of all women but she brings a whole new perspective on what it is to be sexy. Nicole is an absolute babe, as well as Katy. Taylor is a little “meh” and too wholesome and kiddyish for me to consider sexy, even if she is 20.

The pictures I choose need to be recent – in this case, I had to choose from Britney’s daily candids and a recent event (the Grammies). I choose the event because she looked much better (hair, face) than in the candids.

i have a discrepancy with miley-not only is she not a “woman”, she is an underage teenager and is not supposed 2 be on this list, but to be ahead of shakira??um no. katy deserves to be higher.

Thank you Mel, God are you kidding me. Spears looks like she smells like cigarettes and feet. I understand in 1999 everyone went apecrap over her (till this day I don’t see why) but give me a break, half the time she doesn’t even look like she showers on a daily basis. Not to mention she looks like a male midget in real life. I know I got a little nasty it’s true. Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicole, Shakira and Katy I agree with they could add Keri Hilson, she’s georgeous. All those women on the list and Brit is the sexiest. XD, if you say so.

Well in their defense there isn’t a lot of choices these days. Shakira could be hot but there’s something slightly stupid about her when she speaks that kills the deal for me. Beyonce is pretty hot. Britney? Meh, she never did anything for me. But there isn’t a lot out there anymore. Music fell into a black hole a long time ago.

Britney have a great body, a lovely smile , she never says bad thing about others and seems to have a kind heart. Maybe that’s enough.

Nicole Scherzinger is number one for me, than maybe Shakira and Beyonce. Not sure about any others. They wouldn’t have made my top 10.

Everyone is saying Nicole! I never thought of her as being anything special she is just average to me like a not as pretty Kim Kardashian. What does everyone like so much about her?
It’s the whole “pussycat dolls” persona I think. I’ve never been impressed with her at all. The music is really trite. I hate that damn “Don’t ya” song. The first time i ever heard that POS I was sitting in the local meat market and there was a stampede of seriously big girls (this is the south, I’m talking 200 pounds plus) to the dance floor. The whole room was shaking. I would have laughed if I wasn’t in fear for my well being at that point.

definitely lady gaga, something about her is just so sexy. her confidence is amazing and she has a great body. i don’t care what people say about her face, i think she’s beautiful and unique looking.
For me, no to Britney, Miley, Gaga, and Taylor Swift. Britney, albeit curvy and toned, and albeit that she dresses sexy, lost her actual sex appeal for me sometime ago. Just not impressed by that chick. Although they technically can’t be seen as “jail bait” anymore, i still view Miley and Taylor like that, so for me they’re just cute and appealing, not the most sexy of anything. Gaga, well, while unique and her body is in good shape, I’ve never, ever, and probably will never have a “Oooh, Gaga is looing so great and sexy right there” moment. *shrugs* I don’t know.
If this list is about strictly who is sexiest, then Nicole Scherzinger hands down. She is gorgeous. Britney is pretty and cute, but she could be SO much prettier if she put a little more effort into her outfits/hair. The old Britney WAS sexy, but now she seems to have lost her sex appeal, I am routing for her to bring it back again though! Beyonce deserves #2 definitely.

Very weird list. IMO, Miley and Taylor are not sexy at all and Britney should definitely not be in the top 10, let alone in 1st place. Nicole Scherzinger, Shakira, Beyoncé and Katy Perry beat her by far.
