Mariah Carey stepped on stage last night in Los Angeles in a dress that managed to combine lots of ruffles, puffiness, sequins, tightness and cleavage all in one!

She’d look alot better if she lost a few, but she seems happy with her weight and isn’t exactly obese so who are we to judge?
Also, Am i the only one who thinks she’s about 5’6? She can’t be 5’9 can she??

i guess your right, those guys at celeb heights most often get close to the actual height so 5.6-5.7 is more likely
Can anyone be a fan of this look.. Maybe some dislike it less than others. Or i just don’t get it. I can’t believe she’d actually think that’s working for her.

okay..well second look, yeeeah the bottom part is kinda POOF! but still, i have a similar body type and even in my tshirt and jeans my hips are POOF.
so it’s not perfect, yeah. but she looks happy and confident which makes this outfit cute
It’s hard for me to hate on her. She is talented lady regardless of her weight fluctuations, girlish love of unicorns, hello kitty and glitter. She is kind of eccentric, and I can appreciate that.
It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s not great either, it’s still better than a lot of stuff she’s been wearing recently in the sense that there’s some structure to it so she doesn’t look like she’s wearing something a couple of sizes too small for her. I’m getting sick of seeing her cleavage though.
Ughhh when will this woman dress her age. I’M NOT HATING ON HER WEIGHT, but she’s always dresses in the shortest possible, tightest, most unflattering dress. She looks like she can’t even move around on stage that well because of the fit , she just kind of parades around in highheels. MARIAH YOU’RE A GROWN WOMAN. Get some class girl.

This is hurting my eyes. Really, every single time I see her it is too harsh. She is pretty and talented at the same time, but she has to admit she is in her 40s already, not in 20s and also she is not size 0-2. And since she starts dressing appropriate to her age and body she will look gorgeous.
I totally agree with Eve’s comments. I have thought this about Mariah for a while. I would not say anything about her figure people do come in different shapes and hers isn’t bad. The thing is she is still dressing like she is a size 2 and in her 20′s. She would be so much prettier if she would cover up more and dress classier and flatter her body type. I am 43 and used to wear midriff shirts and short shorts when in my 20′s and although I am still in pretty good shape ( 5’5 -115) and I try to take care of myself. I would never dream about dressing the same way now as I did in my 20′s. I feel it just makes you look ridiculous. Just my opinion.

Agree w/ Eve as well. Look, for instance, at Jennifer Anniston that is someone who who dresses appropriate for her age. Mariah dresses like she is in her 20′s and that drives me so crazy to the point that I don’t like her. She tries WAY too hard to be “sexy” and for me it really makes me not like her.

I can’t understand this woman at all, she cannot realize she isn’t a sex symbol, but she is trying, and trying and trying.. She’s being ridiculous.
I have a very similar body type like hers… I have the tights, the bottom, the boobs, but my back is too wide, and that’s make me appear sometimes like if I have no hips, thank God I have waist and legs that helps a little illusion to create a hourglass frame.
She is so talented and beautiful. But she needs to dress for her age. She is dressing like a teenager. So not cute.
