Curvy Beauty with “Cello” Body Type: Natasha Henstridge

Here’s someone we haven’t seen before: 35 year-old actress and former model Natasha Henstridge.
Natasha is the owner of a curvy figure that Trinny and Susannah named “The Cello”. Basically, a cello is a slightly wider hourglass, a very proportionate curvy figure with a larger bone structure. Cello girls have broad shoulders, a relevant bust, curvy hips, waist definition (yet not your typical super tiny waist) and strong thighs, sometimes a slight tummy and they look great even at higher weighs, since their weight is evenly distributed and they’ve got a larger frame.
In case your figure is similar, here are a few fast tips on how to dress to make the most of your curvy body:
- V necklines that flatter your impressive cleavage and elongate the torso
- Pencil skirts and A-line skirts, but not so much balloon or puffy skirts
- Structured, tailored tops that accentuate your waist, but not so much baggy clothing, layering and pointless volumes

What is a skittle?
A skittle is a body type that resembles the pear, but it has slightly smaller hips, no saddle-bags and a smaller booty. However, it has thick thighs and a small upper top, just like pear.
She used to be really thin when she came out in “Species”, then again that was more than 10 years ago. Regardless, she has a great curvy body, with all of her meat going to all of the right places. Also, judging from some beach candid pics of her that came out in August, her body looks just as great in a bikini!
Any guesses on her height/weight/dress size?
She is 5’10” / 178 cm.
I usually don’t like this body type (when the thighs are really close together and touching…not because they are big but because the thighs just turn in like that). But I don’t know, this woman is changing my mind. She looks really nice! She also has a pretty face!

I think that Kete Winslet has looked many times like a Cello – sometimes she looks like a vase, depending on her weight and dress – she has the bone structure to be a cello though:

me too! i just lost 20 lbs and i look at these pictures and ii think, that’s exactly how i look now! exactly!!! i would like to lose more weight but i lose it proportionately all over so i think i look ok now. i don’t have her gorgeous face though!

i think she looks great but i’m shocked too to see her curvy because she use to play in that all girl show called “she spies” and she was very skinny and fit. but i guess thats what having 2 kids will do to your body. i like her curvy though.

I am this shape and i think she looks great and as to the pregnant comment, unless you have the time to hit the gym 5 times a week and are smaller than a size 12 you are goping to have a little bit of a belly, but she looks amazing!
