Ashley Greene stepped out this week in various outfits (and the paparazzis were always there) and we picked to denim-based looks – outfit 1 features high (more like “normal”)-waisted jeans with wider legs and outfit 2 includes skinny grey jeans. Ashley is an athletic V-shaped girl, with broader shoulders, narrower hips and slim legs.

She is pretty, but I really don’t like her shoulders! They are too large…

She needs better fitting jeans. They don’t flatter her shape.
the second outfit (gray jeans and black top) is just a tiny bit more flattering….By the way, I don’t think she looks very athletic??
That’s exactly what I thought! Since she’s a V she can wear skinny jeans and dark colors on top. I think she looks adorable…
I love Ashley Greene, but the first picture isn’t flattering at all :-/ She looks good on the second pic… she’s got nicely shaped legs, despite the flats..
I think she looks great in the darker jeans- those are not high-waisted, just normal rise, and I think the wider leg and heels help balance out her broad shoulders. I have really broad shoulders and narrow hips, it’s hard to dress sometimes without feeling like a linebacker.
i agree, the first outfit isn’t flattering. but in the second picture i love her style! she is just an absolutely beautiful woman!
Those high-waisted jeans are just horrid…the second pic is much better. I think she’s very pretty but I’m not to keen on her fashion.
She doesn’t look like a V shape to me, just a very thin pear.
I look exactly the same, and due to thinness my hips are the only out-there element, while eveything else is just slim.
And I look JUST as bad in high waisted jeans flared jeans, they make my hips look GINORMOUS and ridiculous, emphasise the width of my thighs (which are not thick, just shaped in a curved way, not the straight up and down way), while HIDING the thin knees, and calves below.
I don’t see her being a pear, aren’t your hips supposed to be wider than your shoulders if you’re a pear. From these pics i’d say she could be a ruler, but i’m not that great with bodyshapes. I prefer the 2. outfit, cute.

Ashley’s shoulders are visibly wider than her hips. Pears have narrow shoulders and wide hips. V shapes don’t have very defined waists, while Pears do.

Just a question- what body shape are top heavy girls with defined waists?
(Yeah, Ashley is definitely not a pear, btw. I’m a pear and addition to the lower vs upper the legs are usually short)
Out of the 12 identified shapes, there is:
1. the lollipop (slight definition) – this shape is top heavy because it comes with big breasts and skinny, long legs, like Angelina Jolie.
2. on rare occasions, goblets (Catherine Zeta Jones) – they have broad shoulders, big boobs, very high waists (usually undefined), but the fact that their bum starts so high can create an actual curve between their middle area and hips (which can be considered a waist).
Well, would Bar Refaeli be considered? She has hips and a waist, but, her chest and shoulders are visually larger than her bottom half.
I consider Bar a vase – to me, she seems quite proportionate. Her waist is defined and she doesn’t have a short torso at all – all V shaped girls have shorter torsos (since they have long legs).
Of course, each girl can look bottom heavy / top heavy, depending on the angle of the picture, but generally, I think she looks like a vase.

not feelin the mom jeans.. but shes a gorgeous girl so can get away with alot. As pretty as she is, I dont think she deserves all the hype.. thinkin the “leaked” nudes helped out quite a bit.. plus Im sure she’s aware that in this country, SEX SELLS.. and used this biological tool to her full potential, kinda like Leighton Meester did.. and she blew up!
The only difference between her and Leighton is that Leighton’s sextape is non-existent. And I don’t think she get’s alot of hype for her acting chops she gets hype because she’s alot prettier than her twilight cohorts. Kristen Stewart without makeup is a plane jane almost borderline ugly and Nikki Reid is very pretty however pretty bitchy and annoying. Ashley is the only charming girl on this cast.
I actually think Ashley would have been the better choice for Bella!

not a fan of her body..she has absolutely no shape. her hips are the same width as her waist and her bust.
Versus, is it a V-shape characteristic to have muscular legs? I’ve noticed in some other photos of her that she has wonderfully muscular legs, and I have a friend who is also very broad-shouldered/V-shaped and her legs are extremely muscled also without the curve in her upper thighs also.
On another note – I think the second outfit suits her much better. The waist cut on the first pair are unflattering. She’s 5’5″? Wow! I always thought she was much taller than that. I really would like to see lots of these people in person, I’d imagine many of them would appear different than we percieve.
V shapes have long and slim legs usually – but I also noticed that they tend to be muscular, too.
Um yep, I had never really paid attention to that but you’re right, her body shape is quite uniform.
I prefer the 2nd outfit, definitely. She looks way cuter in it. Plus, the first one makes her look older :s
